Must Watch: D.J. Caruso's Eagle Eye Teaser Trailer!

The first short, but very thrilling, teaser trailer for Eagle Eye starring Shia LaBeouf has hit. Although you won't get this from the trailer, the film is about a kid and his mom (Michelle Monaghan) who get tangled up in a terrorist cell plotting a political assassination. There is a lot more to the story, but I think it's best we don't ruin it for you. I have a feeling most people are going to say this trailer is the best part of the new Indiana Jones, because it shows in front of it, but save that discussion for the Sound Off. Eagle Eye is director D.J. Caruso and LaBeouf's follow up to Disturbia last year, which they made together. This is a very impressive teaser trailer and I'm sure most people will get a kick out of it - check it out for yourself!
If you need even more to convince you that this is going to kick some ass, the story was actually imagined by Steven Spielberg. He didn't write the script, but this is the first time Spielberg has written a story since Goonies and Poltergeist. How about that?

Eagle Eye is directed by D.J. Caruso, of The Salton Sea and last year's Disturbia. The story was actually imagined by Steven Spielberg but the script for the film was penned by Eli Attie ("The West Wing", "House") and John Glenn (Clash of the Titans remake). Eagle Eye arrives in theaters everywhere on September 26th this fall. Thoughts?

Well, Shia is gonna start to become a strong actor after this. It suits him way better than Transformers, and Indy

Maybe this movie will stop making me think of him as Shia LeDouche. The characters he's played lately have been total idiots. This trailer looks very promising.

The only reason I can stand Shia is from Even Stevens, and The Battle of Shaker Heights. I'm just hoping he'll become less and less of an asshole like most young wanna be celebrities. I however could care less about the so called famous people in Hollyweird. If he wants respect from anybody he needs to play it cool. And maybe Eagle Eye is the film for his chance at respect from fans and movie goers.

They stole too much from the Matrix for this trailer.

Looks interesting, based off of this I would probably watch. I'm still divided as to whether Shia is going to be one of those annoying "hot-property" hack actors that is in every f***** summer action movie, or can actually be a serious actor if given the chance.

This is the best trailer I've seen all year (well apart from the dark knight). I think Shia Labeouf is going to be one of the biggest actors of the new generation, every movie of his has been amazing and I can see a good future in his career. I know he isn't an adonis like Brad Pitt but his talent rivals that of Leonardo Dicaprio and even Tom Hanks.

if only i were a cute, white jewish kid, that would be awesome. i could still be a superstar. i wouldn't even have to be a good actor. hollywood rules!
