Must Watch: Fantastic Quantum of Solace TV Trailer
by Alex Billington
October 21, 2008
Sony has done an exceptional job of promoting Quantum of Solace so far, making it one of the most highly anticipated films left this year, and to top all that off we've got one more fantastic TV trailer. This full 60 second trailer features some of the best scenes from the movie (I know, I've seen it) and is a great way to hold over fans until this hits theaters on November 14th. There's only a few more weeks left, but I can guarantee that you're in for one hell of an exciting ride. This is just a small glimpse, a teaser (if even that), of some of the best Bond action I've ever seen - so be prepared. Bond is back again in the follow up to Casino Royale that is as exceptional of a conclusion to that story as the introduction was itself.
Watch the TV trailer for Quantum of Solace:
Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster, of Monster's Ball, Finding Neverland, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Kite Runner previously. The screenplay was penned by both Robert Wade (Die Another Day, Johnny English, Casino Royale) and Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, Casino Royale). This is the 22nd Bond film in the series that first began back in 1962 with Dr. No. Sony Pictures will be releasing Quantum of Solace in theaters on November 14th this year.
Bond movies insult viewers intelligence. How can people like this crap?

Still excited. This will make a great Anniversary activity for me and my girlfriend.

I can't believe the crap #1 is churning... at least #2 has it right. Bring on Quantum of Solace! Can't wait!

James Bond is badass. He's like a superhero, but without powers. I wouldn't call it crap, but some of the older movies are questionable. "Casino Royale" was definitely more realistic than the old Roger Moore flicks. If you haven't watched it, then you might be surprised at how good it actually is. You have to suspend your disbelief before watching, or your intelligence will be insulted. Everybody knows that prior to watching a James Bond movie. It's escapism at it's best.

Looks very very cool to me. I am afraid it got away from the acting, writing of it though and became a blow up fest.
Atomic Popcorn on Oct 21, 2008

Big r on Oct 21, 2008

CK on Oct 21, 2008
aatnet is an idiot. bond films are some of the best ever... the one exception being the pitiful Timothy Dalton ones
Jimmmyman on Oct 21, 2008
This looks damn good! I can't wait. This flick looks like a great follow-up to "Casino Royale"!

October 31st is the release date for France, Sweden and the UK. If you look you can see the 12A rating under the E in Solace. Who isn't excited about some more Bond.
Hisheirness on Oct 21, 2008
Holy moly this looks terrible. Perhaps I'll catch a rerun of Catwoman instead of watching the new metra-sexual bond sashay across the desert with hit butt ugly girlfriend.
tiki god on Oct 21, 2008
Awesome! Can't wait! #1 you suck.
Lefthanded on Oct 21, 2008
i heard that this is the first bond under 2 hrs
Darren on Oct 21, 2008
That Bond girl isn't very good looking...I'll give her the benefit of the doubt though...maybe she has a sexy attitude.
Peloquin on Oct 21, 2008
I hope some of you dont think the red head is the bond girl, cuz I dont believe that is right. If you want to get a good look (and I mean GOOD look) at the bond girl, watch Hitman...some of you may try to take back your posts!

Ive read some of the pre-screening reviews and to be honest it looks like a failure. Lots of action but more like a rambo kind of action without a real plot, no "Bond" moves or lines and a disappointing ending.
Shige on Oct 21, 2008
the new Bond really is badass...the only one of the "replacement Bonds" that hasa done credit to Sean Connery...Craig is a natural to bring Bond into our present day and age...Hey #1, maybe you can catch a rerun of something a little more your speed like "Dude, Where's My Car?"...what a f*&^ing moron...
moldybread on Oct 21, 2008

There's negative reviews here - http://defamer.com/5066132/james-bond-curse-extends-to-early-quantum-of-solace-reviews But where's the balance with the positive reviews?
avoidz on Oct 22, 2008

Im seeing this at the first ever Cast and Crew screening here in London on Sunday 26th October!! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ps. thats 3 days before the World premier.........
vegasdanny on Oct 23, 2008
I saw this last week at a special Cast and Crew preview screening in London and i was blown away! Its got twice as much action than Casino Royale and the stunts are amazing! Its very much like the "Bourne" style of movies but believe me when i tell you that Jason Bourne would get his arse handed to him on a plate by Daniel Craig's 007! From the opening pre-credit car chase to the brutal fight scenes...not to mention the speed boat chase and the aerial dog fight....this bond will leave you breathless. Daniel Craig is shaping up to be the best of all Bonds and all i can say is...bring on the next one! The only thing i would add is that the makers are still a little afraid to play the Bond theme at those keys moments...maybe they feel it doesnt fit with the new style of approach? i think like Sean Connery with "Goldfinger "( Connery's third outing as Bond), Daniel Craig's best is yet to come but you can feel with "Quatum of Solace" that he has grown in the role and is getting used to playing the iconic super spy! Most exciting action film of the year. Fact!

Looks like a fun time. F u haters!
slappy on Oct 28, 2008
yeah, yeah, james bond movie with no bond music, q and "bond, james bond" is not a bond movie. they show more craig's body than those of the women. in short, this past two bonds movies are just for homos. c'mon. attnet is right on the spot.
nizerosiete on Nov 1, 2008
Get ready for a big disappointment; this is no longer a bond film. Hitman is much better film to watch and the villain final fight with bond screams like a girl if that’s the only thing worth paying for.
