We are everywhere. If you saw Indiana Jones back in May, you got just a quick tease of Eagle Eye. Now here we go again! This full trailer picks up right where that one left one and it doesn't stop. This looks absolutely amazing. Incredibly unique action, a mysterious storyline, and Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan working together. This already looks like the big sleeper hit of the fall, but I'm sure by the time it comes out we'll all be talking about it anyway. The best part about this trailer is it introduces you to the film from nothing - you don't need to the know the story, because it's such an great tease that by the end I'm anxious to know what the heck is going on! Check this out - you do not want to miss it!

Eagle Eye is directed by D.J. Caruso, of The Salton Sea and last year's Disturbia. The story for the film was actually imagined by Steven Spielberg but the script was penned by Eli Attie ("The West Wing", "House") and John Glenn (upcoming Clash of the Titans remake). Eagle Eye arrives in theaters everywhere on September 26th this fall. Follow our directions, and you live through this. Disobey, and you die.

I hate spielberg for making Shia a career just because he's jewish.

I'm there. End of story! There has only been (2) trailers that made me really want to go see them. That was Wall-E and Hulk. Now this comes along. Just enough of a teaser to make you drool.....:)

looks great. but hands down speilberg should stop directing and keep producing. After that pack of crap he gave us mr. jones he shouldnt do a film for atleast 10 years.

Unique action ? Um.. did not see any hint of anything unique here. Seems to be pretty standard "dunno anything for firstr 30mins after which Im killing bad guys" kind of film. On a side note, Shia is a good actor. Spielberg or no Spielberg he would have gotten parts in other flicks. Quit whining just because you cant make out with hot chicks on film like he does.

Looks VERY cool and good. Different then what I expected but still lots of questions. Like how the two of them are paired together because its unexpected. Not much Dawson it looks like though 🙁 I'm there anyways.

This looks especially good because the fall in traditionally the lull between summer and holiday season movies....i'm psyched! oh and btw Darrin, Spielberg is the greatest director of the last 25 years. If your too busy to see that just because he made a film that you didn't like, then maybe you were just a bandwagon fan anyway. How quick you are to forget Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Indiana Jones 1,2, and 3, Jurassic Park, Amistad, Saving Private Ryan, The Terminal, and Munich? And let's be honest, any sequel that comes 19 years after its predecessor is doomed from the start.... so get off his back. And all of you who are hating on Shia...stop! He's a great up and coming actor who also happens to be a jew, one of the chosen people!

This looks pretty cool. I'll probably see it. But honestly, Alex, how can you possibly chastise the talkbackers for disagreeing with your opinion of a trailer? Isn't that the entire point of leaving comments on a message board?

Interesting! I'm intrigued. This looks like it will rock. To each his/her own opinion. I'm there opening weekend!!

that Darrin guy is right, i mean war of the worlds was alot of non-sense and pretty much every indiana jones fan was truly a disappointment. I mean speilberg was great just like mike myers and tom cruise but look whats happening their careers are coming to an end. Speilberg should stick to producing from now on. The films he executive produced like disturbia and transformers has hit big at the box office and wasn't disappointing. Any way this film looks awesome hands down. Sorry BRBomber but i can't agree with you.

I'm gonna need a better trailer than this to get me to go see it in theater, but this is definitely something I'll rent. Not ready to get into a flame war to defend it. too bored, and still reeling with depression over the loss of George Carlin..yeah, I know..i'll shut up.

Shia is a pussy and has NEVER made a good film. I don't see why this will be any different.

Wow, what a terrific trailer. That voice was starting to sound like GLaDOS from Portal towards the end.

Ditto on that Minic! I was expecting Shia to whip out a portal gun to help them escape 😛 The cake is a lie!! Movie looks sweet though.

Cut the crap everybody! You're writing nice things because it's says "produced by Steven Spielberg" This trailer is no more thrilling than the last episode of The Muppet Show!

"Shia is a pussy and has NEVER made a good film. I don't see why this will be any different." When has Shia made ANY film? He's an actor. And he was good in Disturbia and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I dont like SHia but this looks pretty good. ANd did anyone notice them biting the scene off of Die Hard 4 at the end with the truck filmed in the same tunnel?

Are you sure that isn't Trinity on the other end. Oh wait there's country side, my bad. Nah just yanking your chain 😀 The film looks okay, I saw the teaser in front of IJ4 and thought it looked like a weak story in epic teaser clothing. This has me mildly more interested. Probably a Tight Arse Tuesday viewing for me.

Seriously, Cinexcellence, Chad, Darrin, chrisUK, please stop wasting my air. If you can't say something productive, just please stop talking. Why would you even comment on it anyway? If you don't like it, go to the next page. No one cares about you not liking LaBouf or Spielberg, or that you think he's only famous because he's jewish [which is obviously biased, bigoted bullshit]. This doesn't look like Saw, the Matrix, or the Bourne movies at all. If you can't stop acting like a child, please, ask your mommy to drop the toaster in next time she's giving you a bath.

@ 30. Dang Chad. What's up ur bum!? No... this looks like a great flick, interesting story, lots of action, probably going to be some nice twists and turns. Will be the movie of the fall, hold me (and maybe you) over until THE SPIRT & then biggest movie of all... THE WATCHMEN. Don't get all you Shia haters. He's a great actor. What makes him so bad? Seriously? Write back and give me an educated blurb about what makes him so bad. Not... Shia's a pussy or man he sucks. Mine... He's a young, good looking, talented actor that can keep your attention on screen and does a believeable and interesting character. Give him a few more years and he'll be one of hollywoods big leading man. Guess you guys just don't have anything better to do so you go online and just write a bunch of crap about whomever your hating on that day. Get a life yo! 36 - Just read your full comment, very well put. LOL!

Frank, chill out. If you read back a few comments, I was saying that I thought Shia was a good actor. But yeah, I still think it looks similar to The Matrix and the Bourne films. It's an observation, not a bashing, which your post most certainly is.

ok.... Indiana Jones - One of the biggest let downs ever, on par with The Phantom Menace. Disturbia - One of the worst films ever. I actually wanted to hit Shia in the face after watching this. Transformers - Special effects aside, it sucked. Someone name one good film hes been in. While hes not a director obviously, the leading actor has just as much to do with a film's success. Bottom line, hes a shitty actor.

Looks great im really looking forward to Eagle Eyes should be a lot of fun and suspenseful, i loved Disturbia it was a great movie and im glad D.J. Caruso and Shia are teaming up again. I dont no why so many people are hating Steven Spielberg right now just because of Indiana Jone 4, let see here who brought us Indiana Jones Steven Spielberg and many other great movies just because he didn't do so hot on the 4th one doesn't mean he doesn't got anything left and it was mostly George Lucas for his crap story, it seems people just love to complain.

John @ 41, first off, why are you blaming shia for IJ4's crappiness. He didn't direct, produce, write, or even lead act in it. He's a supporting cast member/sidekick character. although it wasn't a knock-em-dead memorable performance, it was solid. secondly, you're comment about transformers doesn't make much sense either because it was a kick@$$ movie last summer. i mean what do you expect when you make a film based on a children's toy- some lame indie arthouse flick? No, you get a high octane summer blockbuster! and shia's performance was again solid, not amazing, but solid. he's just cutting his teeth as a leading man, give him time and he will amaze you. as for disturbia- i totally agree with you- it sucked big time. And if you're looking for films that shia's been in that are deemed good by the masses, then the list is a short one. but if you want to know some films in which he gave knock out performances then take a look at my list and tell me what you think. 1. A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints 2. Bobby 3. The Battle of Shaker Heights 4. Tru Confessions - i know this was a tv movie, but shia's performance as a mentally challenged teen was riveting.

I think this looks good and does 'borrow' from some classic films, but what's wrong with that? Anything that takes a new twist on an old successful film is just smart filmmaking as far as I'm concerned. I like Shia. And I'm a 30-something-mom. Not some teeny bopper. He seems like an everyman. Not superstar handsome, but more like your next door neighbor's college kid. Which makes him accessible to a large audience. I think he's a very good actor. Not sure what the hate is all about. I suppose it's the same thing when women complain about the acting skills of some attractive Hollywood starlet. Jealousy? I'm just worried about Shia overload...this kid has been in so many big films lately. But he seems to choose winners, so I'll keep watching!

Looks like a pretty solid action flick. It feels like a cross between Die Hard with a Vengeance and Enemy of the State. Besides, it's got a great cast (Billy Bob, anyone?). If nothing else, I'll see any movie with Michelle Monaghan or Rosario Dawson. I say give it a chance. It may be a surprise hit at the box office...especially for that time of year.

meh, looks like every other dull hollywood movie. and i just cannot accept sleepy labeef as an actor. i've tried, it's not happening. ps: does alex have a piece of the action to be so pumped up for this?

the trailer looks pretty awesome... Watched a similar movie called Aamir(bollywood)... Really awesome... and the plot is similar too... with a person on telephone telling what to do and the main protogonist doing it... a suitcase involved... there is no female protogonist though... was really awesome though... hopefully eagle eyes is not a glorified version of that...

the trailer looks interesting, i like these types of films. and john #41 wow your not the sharpest knife in the drawer are you when you said the following, Someone name one good film hes been in. While hes not a director obviously, the leading actor has just as much to do with a film's success. Bottom line, hes a shitty actor. last time i saw some numbers on disturbia, transformers and the new indy they all made a huge chunk of change, even if you dont like the movies numbers dont lie and thats why this guy is working so much, he makes money, like him or not. and whats with the alex bashing geez people get a life, i agree with you alex 100%

^ #58, since when does $ mean a movie is good? Meet the Spartans made over twice the amount than Serenity did at the box office. Does this mean that Meet the Spartans is twice as good as Serenity? No. It means that it made more $.

i've seen it, and it is definitely action packed, but it's like they took "Enemy of the State" and mixed in a little "live free or Die Hard"
