One Final Amazing 4-Minute Wall-E Featurette

We've come a very long way since that very first photo of Wall-E appeared in January of 2007. Now Pixar's latest masterpiece is finally about to arrive. On Monday we presented our interview with Andrew Stanton, and as a final end to over a year's worth of coverage and excitement, we present this amazing featurette on all of the aspects of Wall-E from the story to the characters to the sounds. Watching this featurette makes me smile such a extraordinarily big smile because it encapsulates everything that I love about this movie in four short minutes. It makes me remember every last wonderful new discovery from Wall-E over the last 17 months and how amazing this movie truly is. If this is the last thing you watch before you venture into theaters this weekend to discover Wall-E for yourself, then please enjoy.

Watch the final featurette for Wall-E:

After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

Wall-E is both written and directed by Pixar's own Andrew Stanton, one of the first animators hired at the studio, who wrote and directed 1998's A Bug's Life and 2003's Finding Nemo. This is Pixar's tenth feature film. Wall-E lands in theaters everywhere this summer on June 27th - see you in theaters!

Ben, on sound, is a fantastic choice. It's funny,... when the Incredibles came out, I was intrigued. When Cars came out, being a car buff, I was facinated. Now, with Wall-E,.......I have no words. A movie for a Sci-Fi, Action guy. Plus it looks wild....:)

If I wasn't a 25 yr old guy - I'd totally go see this this weekend. I just think me, in a theatre filled with kids and families might be a little creepy, haha. Anyone want to lend me their kids? Haha.

Man this looks like such a good movie! Pixar is one of the best presences in the industry, period. They haven't made a bad movie. Their worst movie puts Kung Fu Panda to shame.

Nice. For all the hubub over Les Incredibles and Toy Story, Finding Nemo and A Bug's Life are my personal two Pixar faves. Looks like we'll be getting two top notch animated films this summer. Skadoosh on, Wall-E!

Excellent! What is likely the most original and entertaining movie of the summer is finally here. I've been excited about this film since Andrew Stanton and Ben Burt "wowed" everyone at Comic Con last year. Pixar has out done themselves.
