Given how great these featurette videos for Quantum of Solace have been, I've decided to continue sharing my favorites with all of you. Last time the featurette was about Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, today it's about Director of Photography Roberto Schaefer. One of the key elements to any film is the cinematography, and with Quantum of Solace, I expect nothing less than top notch visuals. Schaefer has worked on all of Marc Forster's previous films, including Finding Neverland, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Kite Runner. I love the mellow feeling of this video and I hope you find it gratifying to watch.
I also really think Schaefer's attempt to make Quantum of Solace's cinematography very retro and futuristic and visually stimulating is fantastic. I think that's the kind of style that these Bond movies need to start heading in to become very unique and very memorable again.

Quantum of Solace continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (Daniel Craig). In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene's sinister plan and stop his organization.
Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster, of Stranger Than Fiction and The Kite Runner previously. The screenplay was penned by both Robert Wade (Die Another Day, Johnny English, Casino Royale) and Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, Casino Royale). This is the 22nd Bond film in the series that first began back in 1962. Sony will be releasing Quantum of Solace in theaters on November 14th this year.

Like the revamp of the new Batman movies from Mr. Nolan. The new Bond will probably be the best yet. Casino Royale was hands down the best 007 film to date. Besides the one and only Connery, Daniel Craig plays Bond like no other.
