A sleek new poster for Frank Miller's The Spirit has been unveiled today over at BadTaste.it. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I heard there was another poster, because Lionsgate has been all over the map with this movie, but this is very impressive, to say the least. It reminds me a lot of this Saw III poster, which I actually own, but without anyone's blood. With the awesome new trailer that came out a few weeks back and great posters like this (and these other ones as well), I may finally be convinced again that The Spirit could be a great movie! We'll find out for sure in just a few more months…
The Spirit is both written and directed by legendary comic book author Frank Miller, who previously worked with Robert Rodriguez to direct segments of Sin City. The film is based Will Eisner's newspaper comic strip of the same name that originally debuted in 1940. Lionsgate pushed up its release from January next year. The Spirit will now hit theaters everywhere on December 25th, Christmas Day.

so floating heads is back in. lol Just kidding i agree with # 1,2 & 3. It's nice, its basic and dark, I can defintely picture my self looking back at this poster in 10 years. If the movie isn't a pile of horse shit like I though it was going to be until recently. The trailer wasn't great but it showed the movie has lots of potenital but also a huge margarin of error a big chance it could still suck. But I really want to see Frank Miller succeed. 🙂

Wow! Really nice poster, it does remind me of Zorro somewhat though. But I love it.

Nice and simplistic. The movie may not be so hot, but the posters and that cardboard theater display sure are!

Im hoping this movie is good enough to take my mind off of the ultimate prize for awhile, that being Watchmen. Im just not looking forward to Samuel L Jackson.
