COMIC-CON 2009
Bob $tencil at Comic-Con 2009: Disheveled Sunday Mess
by Alex Billington
July 27, 2009
While I did have a lot of fun at the Lost panel, I never did get to the bottom of the time paradox at the end of last season. So on Sunday I asked the only panel worth a damn that the Con had left. You see, Sunday is the 4th day of Comic-Con, and it's like the 3rd day in Vegas. You find yourself hung-over, milling around on sore feet through a mess of people, the big colorful signs that once wooed you in, now seem to laugh in your face; you are disheveled, out of money and wondering when the hell this became a place for kids. I could go on about this but I met an expert who specializes in expressing negative emotions, so I just left it up to him.
If you're anything like me, you came into Comic-Con with a certainty that you will be bedding some foxy babes before the weekend is out, but by the end of the weekend the closest thing to a fox you've slept with was a furry. You can find all the latest Bob Stencil videos at firstshowing.net/bobstencil during Comic-Con 2009. Ever since he finished flying planes, Bob has been crooning, MCing, and playing and teaching poker in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Reno. Every year he travels to the San Diego Comic-Con to chat with old friends, hit on celebrities, and spread the word on moustache love. This year he's truly upped the ante!

No truer words. Comic con was a let down this year. Unless you like Twilight. Can only think that the convention is making a turn for the worst. Well, we'll see next year. Great job Bob.

Bahahaha, a close friend of mine went to Comic Con this year and he's in the background of the video the whole time to the left.

I love Bob's coverage of Comic Con, but this video was kinda anti-climatic. I hope there's gonna be another one.

I think the reason it was anticlimatic is because Comicon is anticlimatic. There's just not much to do or see on Sunday.

Bob Stencil is fucking hilarious. I didn't know anything about him last year but he brought the lulz, as he did this year. Well done.

Hey, don't knock SpongeBob, I was at the panel and got to go to a secret concert with Tom Kenny and Mr. Lawrence. It was awesome. Anyways, from Day 1 my friends and I were waiting to see Bob. We screamed for him at the god-awful Twilight panel. He was the ONLY good thing about that and the stupid jerks cut him off. Anyways, meeting Bob was my #1 goal for Comic-Con, and I found him randomly in the Halls on Friday. He was super nice. http://www.flickr.com/photos/24295025@N03/3764706914/in/set-72157621745403813/ I sincerely hope that he ignores all the unjustified hate and goes back next year. More journalists need to pull the sticks out of their butts and loosen up. The crowd loves him. He livens up the mood. Comic-Con needs Bob $tencil.
