Bootlegged Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer Hits
by Alex Billington
February 13, 2009
I'm breaking my own rules to bring everyone this trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen today. It will officially be online on Monday, so I'm warning you now that this will be completely removed the moment it arrives. Until then, this bootlegged version of the trailer will have to do. This is showing in front of Friday the 13th, so if you want to see it high quality, please do yourself a favor and go to your nearest movie theater and watch it there. To be honest, seeing Friday the 13th would be worth it, as it's not a bad movie. But for everyone else too lazy or for those of you that hate horror, here it is.
Please watch the official high res teaser trailer online now!
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is again directed by action film superstar Michael Bay of Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Island, and Transformers previously. The story and screenplay for the sequel was written by Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as well as Ehren Kruger (The Ring, The Brothers Grimm, Blood and Chocolate). Paramount is unleashing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both IMAX and regular theaters on June 26th this summer. We'll be there!

Give me a break. That entire trailer is nothing but explosions and footage that resembles Armageddon. Michael Bay is a joke.

Yay! Now I can just watch the trailers and I'll save $10 at the movies. You get the exact same thing either way. This movie will be nothing more than blowing shit up. Otherwise, it's gonna be crap, just like the first one was. I'll save my money and just watch the trailers.

Everything just looks so messy. That's what I didn't like about the first one. If it's a big movie, I prefer good cinematography. I wasn't really a Transformers fan in the 80s, though. I'll wait for DVD.

This one has a much more dark intensity than the first one. Paramount has a licence to print money with this franchise as this type stuff plays amazingly well all over the world. chuck

Michael Bay: "Oh, I know what will make this sequel even better!! A vaudville-comedy-esque CD Player Transformer!!! Goddammit I'm such an awesome director. I should hire Michael J. Fox to be my cameraman. . . ."

--- Oh noes! An award winning director is making a sequel of a movie that was a huge success around the world, which is bound to make hundreds of millions as well. This MUST be the work of the devil! He must be stopped! I know, let's all cry like little bitches and say he sucks on an internet blog. That'll show em. --- While you're at it, why don't you cry about Bumblebee still being a Camaro, or Optimus not looking like you remember when you wanked off to him in your underoos.... last week. These comments are getting filled with nothing but 'me too' haters and obnoxious trolls.

This is a disappointing trailer Literally the first minute and 2 seconds just shows meteors hitting around the world...wow, half the trailer wasted. The we get 3 seconds of a contructicon followed by slow delayed name drops of Bay and Spielberg. After that crap, all they do is reshow what was in the 30 second super bowl teaser with tiny added scenes of bumblebee and skorpinok. They should of shows us something new and stopped showing Shia

Hmm...I loved the beginning but I felt like the music towards the end was too much like terminator. Looks a lot darker but I still need to see more before I judge. I'm definitely excited for it.

Wow...pretty lame trailer in my opinion. Its almost the same as the ones before, and the scenes shown were already something ive seen picture of before. I was expecting a much better trailer...but it was ok. Hopefully another trailer hits theaters very soon.

Fuelbot: It's not simply that there are explosions, the problem is that the film is most likely going to be nothing but. The first film was just a lame excuse to take some big robots and have them smash things. That's great and a lot of people are into that. A lot of people, tho, prefer a plot and a reason. Some of us don't get off on nothing but explosions, and these films COULD have decent plots if they weren't written by a marketing committee.

How can you complain about CGI, it's transformers... the only alternative is a cartoon version, there is plenty for that. Unless someone makes a fully functioning robot, but anyone with that talent probably works for the government and is helping forward the movement towards WW3. BTW, this looks awesome, can't wait.

Sorry buddy but Fuelbot's comment #46 was spot on! To be honest though this trailer could've been a little better in explaining what the movie was to get the hype going even more. But then again isn't this just a second teaser. And we got like 4 more months.

I see no problem with showing a bootlegged trailer considering it's a commercial that we don't, never have, and never will pay for. It's not stealing if it's free to begin with. Just goes to show which movie has the most hype this summer. I had such low expectations for the first film and was absolutely blown away. With this film I have such high expectations I honestly don't care if I'm blown away or not. The imagery and excitement is what stands out about these films, not the storyline, or even the acting (hence Megan Fox's acting vs. visual appeal). This film looks exciting, and more visually dynamic than the first film....so I don't see how it can disappoint.

ok so first-a couple of rfetards up there were like O IM MICHAEL BAY THIS IS JUST LIKE ARMAGHEDDON. TRANSFORMERS IS NOTHING LIKE ARMAGHEDDON YOU MORONS! second-MY NAME IS SQUIGGLY I WANT A DECENT PLOT. how do you expect to make a decent plot out of a movie based on , not only a kids show, but also a kids show from the eighties? wqould you implement a love triangle between the robots to give it some plot? have two of them get a divorce or something? ITS ABOUT CARS TRANSFORMING INTO ROBOTS FOR CHRISTS SAKE. SHUT THE HELL UP. third-OOOO THIS TRAILER WASNT VERY GOOD. why arent you making the trailers for these movies if you are so good at it and can judge them so well? O ITS JUST ALL EXPLOSIONS AND MENTIONING BAY AND SPIELDBERGS NAMES. you would have complained if they would have showed too much lebouf and then you would be posting O TOO MUCH SHIA IN THIS TRAILER I WANTA SEE MORE EXPLOSIONS. would you prefer they reveal the whole movie in the trailer? Shut the hell up and enjoy the beautiful piece of art Michael Bay has made.

i love the first, now im in love with the second. by the way, compare transformers first trailer to this one they both looks similar. Bay and Speilberg went back to basics, i like that.

hey #66, people like KG have a point and a right to get pissed off at those idiots. Everytime I get on here or some other place like it, theres always someone who has to bitch and complain, piss and moan like they can do so much better. they're miserable people who will never be happy and always have to try to make others miserable to make themselves feel somewhat justified in their anger. if you dont like it, then too bad, go away. and as far as Christian Bale goes, I'm sure you've done a lot worse things in your miserable life, the only difference is nobody cares about you, you're not famous, you dont have somebody following you around with a camera or a recorder ready to drag your name, hard work, and reputation through the mud just to make a cheap buck.
