Check These Out: Awesome Early Clash of the Titans Posters!
Whoa! These came out of nowhere today. Seems like Warner Brothers is preparing to unleash the first of their marketing for Clash of the Titans by the end of the year. Ain't It Cool News just got their hands on eight new character posters and teaser posters for Louis Leterrier's Clash of the Titans remake (there's also another one on HitFix). We've heard a lot about this remake, even seen a few photos, but we haven't seen anything like these posters and I've got to say, being a huge fan of original, that they really kick ass. I'm very excited for this, I love the style and intensity, I love everything about it. Definitely check these out below!
All posters have been removed at the request of Warner Brothers. Sorry guys, you can see them all again when they're officially released!
My personal favorite is the one on the top row, to the right, where he's holding Medusa's head. Yours?
Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny. Louis Leterrier is directing from a script by Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark).

Jeeze, enough of the damn remakes Hollyweird. Let's try this: How about letting writers with TALENT create ORIGINAL works and film those? Leave the original, classic films ALONE.

I usually bitch about reboots, but this is the perfect film for a contemporary upgrade...
peloquin on Nov 3, 2009
I loved this movie as a kid. The scene in Medusa's lair was my favorite. Unfortunately, the special effects now look so cheesy and outdated, so I'm really looking forward to this.
pinkflyd7 on Nov 3, 2009
Ditto on Shadow of the Colossus. I do like the eye and snakes one.
ebbie on Nov 3, 2009

Sam Worthington is a badass actor. He is the next action star. Hopefully he does some comedy/romance and spy flicks as well. Do all kinds of genres.

Fuck yeah! This movie has been high on my list as I'm also a fan of the original. My vote definitely goes to the one with Perseus holding Medusa's head. I bet Medusa is gonna look down right NASTY.

Before ( Images Removed At The Request Of Warner Bros. ) happen .. 😉 just take a good look to both (Perseus Holding Medusa's Head) and (Sam Worthington as Perseus ) right top first and second line ... it is the same image of Sam in both posters but with different hand transformation !!! of course you can tell the last two images too 😉 I think Medusa's poster is nice !!! LOOK CAN KILL 😉
Shero on Nov 4, 2009

do you guys think that Liam Neeson poster as Zeus remind you of Gary Oldman as Count Dracula/Vlad III the Impaler in Bram Stoker's Dracula. i mean the opening scene in the movie were you see Vlad III the Impaler in his red army outfit. this movie Clash of the Titans will kick-ass i cant wait to see it
tazz on Nov 4, 2009
Top left kicks ass.
Robbie on Nov 4, 2009
i know its just a movie and its a remake of the classic 1981 Clash of the Titans but aint Andromeda should of been played by someone of color cause in Greek mythology, Andromeda was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia the king and queen of the kingdom Ethiopia (or Aethiopia), literally meaning 'the land of burnt faces'. the inhabitants were described as being black and or swarthy with curly or woolen hair.
mega on Nov 4, 2009
The very first one is epicly minid-blowing. I want all of these posters, my mind is like melting from too much awesomeness.
Jakob on Nov 4, 2009
I'm about 10,000 times more excited than I was for this movie after these posters. Grade A bad ass.
Dan on Nov 4, 2009
Yeah these posters kickass and I especially love the one with Perseus and Pegusus at the top on the very left. It just screams intensity and epicness. These posters really remind me of the one's for 300, but 10 times better. Also The Kraken posters kickass too.
wrongturn687 on Nov 4, 2009
Yeah... for some reason, I don't get remake hate for this one. Wore out the betamax as a kid, ready to see it updated. One word for the posters. Epic.
bozo on Nov 4, 2009
Take a good look at the Io poster next to the Medusa eye...Check the giant scorpion tail in the back...
jasonmd2020 on Nov 4, 2009
I agree with 45. This is something I can actually understand being remade and would love to see. The special effects these days can can make it look amazing. Especially the sequences involving all the mythical creatures. I can't wait to see the updated Kraken in action
wrongturn687 on Nov 4, 2009
the second to the last Kraken poster is the shiz.
Mr sol on Nov 4, 2009
That is most definitely Liam Neeson as Zeus. It looks like neeson and there were pictures posted not too long ago with neeson dressed like that. All of that is beside the point. SO MUCH AWESOME
risk on Nov 4, 2009
Those are all fantastic!!! Their all amazing in their own way but I'd have to lean toward Perseus with Medusa's head as my fav. Can't wait for a trailer, should be coming soon I would think.
K on Nov 4, 2009
This looks more interesting than Sam Worthington's other big budget venture.
Henry Jones Sr. on Nov 4, 2009
Hope this is a hard R, though it will probably be very epic anyway.

I find it pretty messed up that after being raped by Poseidon Medusa's punishment was to have hair made of snakes. Pics look good, will be interesting to see Pegasus fly. But as a few folk have mentioned reeeeeemmmaaaaaaaaaake...
Crapola on Nov 4, 2009
Don't expect an R rating on this. The original was only PG. Most likely will be PG-13.
pinkflyd7 on Nov 4, 2009
The Zues pic looks like it could be straight out of the Original. The rest look 300-ish. Not that either is a bad thing. Just a personal observation. Still cant wait to see the movie. (I secretly hope they held on to the metal owl) (ha!)
