Wow, this looks bad, bad, bad. Not as bad as All About Steve or Old Dogs, but pretty damn bad. Fox has debuted the first official trailer for Tooth Fairy over on Yahoo. This stars Dwayne Johnson as a Tooth Fairy (ugh) as well as Ashley Judd, Julie Andrews, and Billy Crystal. Unsurprisingly this looks a lot like The Santa Clause (maybe because the guy directing it also directed The Santa Clause 2 and 3), but unfortunately not the least bit entertaining. I'm sure this will make a lot of money and a bunch of people will enjoy it, but man, it just looks terrible. Not my cup o' tea by a long shot. Check out the trailer if you really want to see it.

A bad deed on the part of a tough minor-league hockey player (Dwayne Johnson) results in an unusual sentence: He must serve one week as a real-life tooth fairy, complete with tutu, wings and magic wand.
Tooth Fairy is directed by Michael Lembeck, who last brought us The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause with Martin Short and The Santa Clause 2 before that, as well as 24 episodes of "Friends." The screenplay was co-written by Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel, Joshua Sternin, Joshua Sternin, and Randi Mayem Singer . Fox has Tooth Fairy set for release on January 22nd, 2010 early next year. Will anyone be seeing this?

Sorry, but it looks like a fun family flick. I won't be seeing it, but still, it isn't that bad. Dwayne Johnson has great charisma on screen and I wish he'd do better roles.

of cause Alex its not your cup of tea cause the movie is for little kids to enjoy. we all agree that The Rock should be doing more action movies but dont worry his coming back to kick some ass really soon. actually his going to star in The Other Guys an Action/Comedy #9 this is not Hancokc bad Will Smith was good in that movie only the second half of Hancock was a complete let down.

And for all the "dads and moms" that are liking this: hey...Dwayne Johnson is meant for another genre of movies ok? Don;t give a damn bout what your kid likes ( cup of care \_/ ) When i'll have kids i won;t take them to see this shit..only cartoons or action/SF movies (good ones). It seems like the majority of people like him, so why isn't he doing different movies? Just doesn't make any sense to me.

It's a kids movie... just like The Game Plan. This is not for me. From the trailer it looks like something recycled, the same old jokes, the same approach... Again, it's a kids flick because I think they don't quite know( I'm not saying that I'm some guy who understands everything) what's new or old. Not for me, kids will love it!

It is a kids movie, and yes #30 he is on his way to becoming he next Arnold. But if you remember even Arnold did a 1 or 2 kids movies, anyone remeber Kindergarten Cop, it was a classic to some people. Dont bash the Rock for his choice in movies, he will eventually come back to action flicks, i guess its just nice to have a change in pace once in awhile, i hope its just not permanent. Even Eddie Murphy is going back to hardcore, vulgore action now that his kids are grown up, isnt there a Beverly Hills Cop 4 on the way.

it had me at the 'Cat Away' bit where he presses the horn. I have a feeling this will be a bit too middle of the road for me to say i enjoyed it, but hopefully it steps into the bugnuts crazy random realm enough times to make it fun 😛

For all of the "Yokels" saying lighten up this is just a kid's movie.....who made the rule that just because it is a kid's movie it is okay for it to SUCK!!! Contrary to popular belief a kid's movie CAN STILL BE A GREAT FILM!!! I know we have seen a lot of bad ones over the years and this look's like the grandaddy of them all!! When I think of kid's movies I think of..... "E.T"., "The Goonies", "The Never Ending Story", "The Wizard of Oz", heck even "Babe" makes the list!!!! I don't think of unfunny garbage like "The Tooth Fairy". So let's not get caught up in the idea that "kid's" movies can afford to be bad....I know I lot of us like to "think" kids will accept anything...but even THIS trash film is beyond them!
