WORTH WATCHING
Exciting New Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Featurette
by Alex Billington
February 23, 2009
This two-and-a-half-minute featurette plays like an extended trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but with some interviews and behind-the-scenes footage in addition to all of the actual finished scenes. While we got a glimpse at a few new scenes during the Oscar credits, this has some exciting new footage that should make every Harry Potter fan happy. I'm looking forward to Half-Blood Prince because it looks so incredibly epic, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad, because I keep reminding myself that this is only PG, even though some of these sequences look very intense. Take a look!
Watch the new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince featurette:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is again directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix previously, and is written by Steve Kloves, who also wrote the adaptations of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire, but did not write Order of the Phoenix. This is the sixth book in J.K. Rowling's immensely popular series. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince arrives in theaters worldwide this upcoming summer on July 17th. Be there!

PG!!! What is this? That book was so violent and bloody! This must mean that they do not show the Prince's curse!!! I was really looking forward to Malfoy getting torn up!

Yeah the only way this is PG is if they either cut that bloody scene out or they changed the color of the blood

as long as there is plenty of Helena Bonham-Carter (bellatrix Lestranges) flying around and being cackling mad i am in... she is INSANELY BRILLIANT as bellatrix... i went back and saw the first two harry potter movies and cannot help but compare what a sissy this dumbledore is. the first one looked majestic and awe-inspiring ... this one looks like nothing like my idea of Dumbledore... skinny and with a tied up beard... but this looks probably the most promising movie ... potentially better than Prisoner of Azkaban
