First Look: Neil Marshall's Centurion On-Set Featurette

Before we get a trailer, before we even get a poster, our first look at any footage from Neil Marshall's Centurion comes in the form of an on-set featurette shot by the folks at Rotten Tomatoes. Everyone should remember seeing that photo of Olga Kurylenko wearing blue eye shadow a few weeks ago. That was the very first look at anything from Centurion, even though Olga is only one of a few actors who star in the film, which also includes Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, Noel Clarke, and David Morrisey. We don't get to see too much (no action unfortunately), but this video does give us a quick glimpse of what it'll look like.

Watch the on-set featurette for Centurion:

Actor Dominic West and director Neil Marshall explain in the video the backstory behind the historical events and what Centurion is supposed to be about, so if you're curious to know more, just start there. But as a recap, Centurion is an epic action adventure film set in 117 AD about a group of Roman soldiers who must fight for their lives behind enemy lines after their legion is decimated in a devastating guerrilla attack. Mainly due to the costumes, I'm reminded a lot of Gladiator, although I suspect in the end we'll see something completely unique and different, which I'm actually excited to see from Neil Marshall.

That's Dominic West from 300 and The Wire in the video... not Fassbender

Actor Dominic West is the one that is speaking NOT Michael Fassbender as you see at the bottom of the video where his name is listed. Director, Neil Marshall as you mentioned and actress Olga Kurylenko. Very excited about this film. Thanks!

Is it me or Kurylenko is trying to speak with English accent? Nothing against her, she's actually alright, but it's still funny.
