First Official Footage from Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds!

Apparently the rumors are true - Entertainment Tonight is showing the first full trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds tomorrow night. In advance of that debut, they've aired a very short teaser for the trailer, which features about 25 seconds of our first look at Inglourious Basterds. This is obviously a very exciting and grand debut, as this is nearly ten years in the making, and it was less than a year ago when Tarantino announced that he was actually making this and he's already put together a trailer. So without further ado, let's get on with it! Check out the first footage from Inglourious Basterds!

Watch ET's sneak peek at the new trailer for Inglourious Basterds:

During World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "the Basterds" are chosen to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a young French girl named Shosanna who runs a movie theater in Paris that is frequented by soldiers.

Inglourious Basterds is both written and directed by the infamous Quentin Tarantino, of everything from Reservoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction to Kill Bill to Death Proof previously. The Weinstein Company and Universal have partnered to bring us Tarantino's WWII masterpiece in all of its brilliant glory. After first debuting at the Cannes Film Festival, Inglourious Basterds will now hit theaters worldwide on August 21st this year.

Read the screenplay. Love how this trailer only shows one aspect of the story. There's so much still left to be experienced.

Wahoooo, I got so tired of Nazi war movies, but this will be the bingos! Nazi scalping ha ha. No 'Reading' in sight I hope, unless it's for subtitles...

Weird, I already imagined it a bit different, Brad saying and I want my scalps, then super closeup to his face = not that intense or cool. I don't know I thought hed be more serious or scary about that particular line, not borderline joking, well just have to see!

Friggin' ET voice over ruins the whole thing. Might as well, left well enough alone, and let it debut with Friday the 13 this weekend. Still looks great, lots of fun.

Hope this movie will give a new view of what was going on back in that world war 2, in a way (Tarantino) we newer has seen before... I really hope that he do it again... Like Tarantino´s way to make movies... I also exspect something new from Brad Pitt... Need to see the movie... hehe...
