Kristen Bell to Star in Andy Fickman's You Again for Disney

Actress Kristen Bell has been cast as the lead in Disney's comedy You Again, to be directed by Andy Fickman, who most recently directed Race to Witch Mountain. Written by Dave Johnson and Moe Jelline, You Again is about a girl who's horrified to find that her brother is marrying the very girl who made her life a living hell in high school. Yep, it's your standard Disney teenage comedy, and sadly one of my favorite actresses is going to star in it. This is Fickman's third consecutive project with Disney (he's also got Monster Attack Network lined up there, too), meaning he's got one hell of a deal and they like quite a damn bit.
We last saw Kristen Bell in Fanboys and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where she stole my heart in both movies. You Again will shoot this summer, with Fickman, Eric Tannenbaum ("Two and a Half Men") and John J. Strauss (The Wild) producing. Kristen also appears in Disney's When in Rome this year, provides her voice for Astro Boy, and stars in Peter Billingsley's Couples Retreat. As much as I love her, I'm going to say now that I'm probably not going to ever see You Again, unless the trailer really convinces me it's worthwhile or I'm dragged there by a girl. Oh well, at least I know Disney will take good care of her!

The only thing good about this post is the picture used for it. Man, she's hot.

what a shame. She should stick to adult comedies
