Up in the Air Trailer

Paramount has debuted the second theatrical trailer for Jason Reitman's Up in the Air following the first initial teaser trailer that hit a few weeks back. Up in the Air has become a festival sensation at both Telluride and Toronto and will also play at the Aspen, Mill Valley, Rome, London, and Austin Film Festivals. If you haven't been satisfied with that many films this awards season, then this is the one you've been waiting for. Up in the Air is director Jason Reitman's best yet and is a fantastic film full of great performances. However, I need to warn everyone, this trailer gives away a lot. Stick with the teaser only if you want to stay fresh!

Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) is a corporate downsizing expert - someone who fires people for a living - whose cherished life on the road is threatened by young hotshot just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he's met the frequent-traveler woman he never thought he'd meet.

Up in the Air is both written and directed by Oscar nominated Canadian filmmaker Jason Reitman, of Thank You for Smoking and Juno previously. This is based on Walter Kirn's novel of the same name first published in 2001. Paramount is bringing Up in the Air to theaters starting on December 4th this year.

This movie looks like it will be a fantastic adventure. It seems to have a great plot with a good principle and characters you'll want to follow. So long as it keeps pace with how the trailers seem to indicate, I think this will blow people away. Hidden gem!

The teaser had me second guessing, but this does look lovely. Snappy like the director's previous films.
