Must Watch: Red Band Trailer for Observe and Report!

We've been waiting for this one! Observe and Report is the follow-up film from up-and-coming filmmaker Jody Hill, who broke out with The Foot Fist Way a few years ago. Seth Rogen stars as Forest Ridge Mall's head of security and things get a little out of hand when a flasher invades. Warner Brothers has officially debuted the red band trailer for Observe and Report and it's as hilarious as we were expecting. Screw those other movies like Land of the Lost, this is the big 2009 comedy that we're actually looking forward to seeing! In fact, this looks so damn good, that dare I say it could be a new comedy classic?!

At the Forest Ridge Mall, head of security Ronnie Barnhardt patrols his jurisdiction with an iron fist, combating skateboarders, shoplifters and the occasional unruly customer while dreaming of the day when he can swap his flashlight for a badge and a gun. His delusions of grandeur are put to the test when the mall is struck by a flasher. Driven to protect and serve the mall and its patrons, Ronnie seizes the opportunity to showcase his law enforcement talents on a grand scale, hoping his solution of this crime will earn a coveted spot at the police academy and the heart of his dream girl Brandi.
Observe and Report is both written and directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Jody Hill, of only The Foot Fist Way previously. The film was shot on location at the Winrock Mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Warner Brothers will debut Observe and Report in theaters everywhere on April 10th, 2009.

HAHAHAH no shit? Winrock Mall is completely dead and empty for the past 5 years, perfect set for a movie I guess, now I have to watch this for sure. Oh I'm from Albuquerque obviously. Dammit if I had know they were here Id have went over there and stalked them haha. This actually does look funny, I think Seth Rogen is great, the dude is just hilarious no matter what, and how does he have so many different looks, yet always look the same? haha.

This is going to very good. Man, it reminds me of "Paul Blart: Mall cop", but this is definitely better. Seth Rogen and Anna Farris together, this will be interesting.

#26 if he is the same in every movie, why does he act like a dickish sociopath in this one, and a loveable loser everyman in the others? 😛 Maybe if this actually LOOKED like the same Rogen we've seen before then you would be spot on, but as it stands, it just sounds like Rogen bashing for the sake of it. I think this could be the movie in which he shows us something different, especially based on the way the directors previous movie went down.

wow that was not what i was expecting. i thought the whole movie took place in a mall, but it's so much more than that. u think now people will give seth rogen a little credit? he is NOT as bad as you say he is, and this red-band proves it. this is almost judd apatow quality.

I stand by my comment on if your 12,13, or 14 years then Rogen is funny to you. If your a mature adult you see through the crap, the non talent, the delivery, the presence, and his frame time is revolting. Utterly revolting. Alex I don't get your infacuation with this comedic turd. #35 makes a good point, rarely do we see an "actor" that keeps getting worse performance after performance. Nicolas Cage is a perfect example. Thus the actor refelcted in quotes. And now this Seth Rogen creature defines the same. A classic Alex? Stop it Sir, your damaging your cred. Allright I will try this again! If your trying to reach the 12,13 and 14 year olds as a target for your style of comedy, then this turd Rogen is a perfect example. If your a mature adult and can see through the crap, the non talent, the screen presence, horrific timing this "Actor" and the tripe he writes and stars it turns you off and you won't waste your money. ( I use the quotes in actor becuse this Rogen is simply not an actor) I agree with #35 on how after every performance after performance get's worse. Nicolas Cage is also a perfect example of this. Seth Rogen is just revolting. The trailer is revolting. And I am so disappointed with Red Band. This proves just how low some will go to make a buck. The word Classic and Rogen cannot simply be uttered in the same phrase unless you include the word Shite!

Saw this movie a few weeks ago at a screening. IT IS COMPLETE SHIT, NOT WORTH A DIME!!!! Seriously there is nothing worth seeing in this garbage, I usually like Seth Rogan movies, and with Ray Liotta, what are the odds that it would BLOW as hard as it did.
