Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Teaser Trailer

Let's give this another shot, shall we? I really hated the first teaser trailer for Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - way too much stupid humor and jokes that just weren't funny at all. Not a lot of people agreed with me, but I'm here to voice my opinion and I did just that. Well, Fox has released a slightly upgraded international teaser trailer with a few minor changes, and fortunately, the improvements are good enough to keep me just barely on the verge of attacking this movie yet again, so I'll hold my tongue this time. Anyway, give this new trailer a shot and if you so please, let us know what you think.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is again directed by Shawn Levy, of Big Fat Liar, Cheaper by the Dozen, The Pink Panther, and the first Night at the Museum as well. Original screenwriters Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon (of "Reno 911!" fame) are back and they're joined by Simon Kinberg, of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Jumper. Night at the Museum 2 will arrive in theaters everywhere on May 22nd, 2009 this upcoming summer. Who will win this fight: the Terminator or Larry Daley?

Actually they took out ever near stupid joke from the first trailer. This is a huge improvement, and I did enjoy the Napolean sequence. Anyway, it will be shrouded by all the other great blockbuster movies coming out this summer, so probably a rental here.

I liked the first one a lot, actually. I don't get the hate for it. It's a family film. Just enjoy it for what it is.

I hope Stiller dies in this one

Ricky Gervais' little comment at the end was the best thing about this trailer

It is a huge improvement from the first trailer. and i'm thrilled Ricky Gervais is in it. Even if this movie turns out to be a flop, it still should be mildly entertaining.

Better than the first, still stupid. What gets me is Lincoln. Why? He's not apart of the museum and what, are they going to bring every statue in D.C. to life? That's where it became too much and I enjoyed the first one. I'll watch this, on HBO or if my girlfriend begs me enough. Alex, I'm with you on this.

I'd see this over Terminator. Just saying.

Every frame Stiller is in actually is the weak link. The rest is just another attempt to shake $$$ from parents who might enjoy this kind of foder. God awful. And before the attacks begin about "family" movies.....I would not waste my jake to take any of my G.kids to this tripe.

I think they remove the last Lincoln part where he says "I never lie"

#13, I think you are wrong. Will Terminator win the weekend? Surely. But this movie will probably have the longevity to stick around in the top 10 a lot longer than Salvation. Also, you have to factor in the kid quotient, and this movie is a high budget kids movie with bankable stars across all demographics.

I was up for watching this until I saw Ricky Gervais is in this one too... Now I'm not so sure. There stands one of the most over-rated comedians in the history of TV and Cinema. If he's not in the movie much (as in the first) then it might be ok to watch.

Ben Stiller. I think that says to stay away from this piece of shit! Number 3 and 9. I agree with you!

Made the first movie so good and this one is just like killing the movie altogether... what is plot? what is going on? Horrible trailer and looks like a even more horrible movie....
