For anyone wondering where Majel Barrett did her voice acting in the new film, she is Future-Spock's ship computer voice, therefore accomplishing her feat of being in everything Star Trek. She recorded all her dialogue in December '08 before passing away, but I'm sure she saw rough cuts of the film. I know as a Trekker I'll miss her acting overall in the franchise, but was geeking out she came back for the new film and gave it the Roddenberry seal of approval. Those who'll be seeing it again or for the first time (I'm actually going twice today! Imax & normal 35mm showing) listen when Reboot-Spock gets in the future ship, all the computer voice's dialogue are of Majel!

P.S.: After today I'll have officially seen this movie 4 times....My old record was 3 times for Dark Knight & 3 times for Transformers 2007....I'm hoping 5 times with Terminator/Salvation & Transformers 2 LoL!!!

... Another great episode guys, I would love to debate each one of you on alot of your points about Star Trek, which is a good thing I swear... .. The only thing I feel like I have to point out is Sean's comment about the people who were talking about the "robot voice" not being the same. It's actually kind of a bigger deal then just Star Trek nitpicking. Majel Barrett (who was also Gene Roddenberry's wife) has been apart of almost all (if not all) iterations of Star Trek in one way or another. She was known as the First Lady of Star Trek and I think was supposed to be the computer/robot voice in the new film as well until her she passed away in eary December of 2008. Sorry... but as I guy raised on Trek I just had to point that out. .. Loved this episode guys, especially with the debate on Star Trek... I agree and disagree with points that all three of you had. Keep up the good work guys. ... PS TMNT FTW

the reason why Marvel are doing nothing about X-Men and the Wolverine films is because they do not have the rights to them to them. Fox has the rights and they have killed the franchise. They also killed the Fantastic Four films(one of my favorite marvel comic books) whereas they own the rights to Iron Man, Avengers, Thor and are actually producing the films. That is why Iron Man is such a great film and looking forward to the future films being produced by Marvel
