Toy Story

As you probably have already heard by now (if you're a Pixar fan at least), Disney is re-releasing both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 this October in 3D. Both of the movies were completely re-rendered in 3D using all of the original files and will be shown back-to-back (with a break inbetween them) in theaters for just a few weeks. Yahoo has debuted the official theatrical trailer for this double feature and it's quite fun to watch (just like the trailer for Toy Story 3). I got to see the opening scene of Toy Story 2 in 3D at Comic-Con and I will say it does look incredible and I will be watching both of these in theaters come October. Enjoy!

A toy named Woody has it all. He is practically the leader in Andy's toy room, Bo Peep has the hots for him, and most importantly, he is Andy's favorite toy. But when the clocks strike Andy's birthday, a new toy arrives - Buzz Lightyear, a space cadet who thinks he is a space ranger, Andy's new treasure.

Pixar's Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were directed by the legendary John Lasseter back in 1995 and 1999. Disney is bringing both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 to theaters together on October 2nd later this year.

Good trailer, but I already have both those movies and I don't care enough about 3-D enough to pay money for this.

I saw the trailer, in 3D, in front of G-Force. When are they going to post trailers in 3D on the internet for all those people who keep the glasses?

Eric on Jul 28, 2009

Um...don't you have to look through both lenses at the same time to make it 3D? And how does the 3 lenses work? haha. Anyway, pretty nice trailer. I like how it's just them messing around instead of something like a voice over saying stuff about the first two being in 3D over footage from the first two.

i just hope it really is 3d. up was supposed to be 3d but it really wasnt. i loved up but if a movie is touted as 3d then damnit it should be 3d

Awesome! I felt like an excited little kid seeing that preview. When Toy Story first came out I never expected it to become the classic that it has become. I work with kids and the Toy Story characters are probably the most popular of all the Disney characters today.

Is this going to be showing in the UK??? If not I am totally flying over to the US to watch it.

LMAO ROTFL. holy crap, I love Pixar's commercials. I would so love to see this. If I have time... 🙁 It's hard enough for one movie, but two? and will they be charging like triple the price for a double feature in 3D?

dave13 on Jul 29, 2009

I'm there! As long as it comes to the UK.

dom on Jul 29, 2009
