Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Moved Up 2 Days Early

Back in 2007, I remember Michael Bay asking fans online whether he should move up the release of the first Transformers. The response was overwhelming and he seemingly was able to then push up the release by 1 extra day. Well, this time he doesn't need to ask fans, because Paramount has already decided to push the release date up by 2 extra days for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen so that it will now hit theaters on Wednesday, June 24th, instead of the 26th. That's a few extra days that we'll be able to bask in the glory of all things Optimus Prime and Michael Bay. It's not a big change, but it's enough to keep me excited!
Another release date change that was never mentioned - Warner Brothers pushed up the opening of Terminator Salvation by one day. It will now open on Thursday, May 21st, instead of the Friday, the 22nd. This decision was probably made so that it could distance itself even more from Fox's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, which also opens on the 22nd. It's very likely that both of these movies will have midnight showings on their respective opening nights. And don't forget, the full trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters in front of Friday the 13th this weekend, but we won't get it online until Monday!
If the trailer is to debut in front of Jason, I just may have to go see another Jason flick then.

Like Terminator needs to worry about Night. That's one of those movies that should have stayed on its own because the first wasn't that bad. A week earlier is a big deal. 2 days, meh. More money before the big weekend. lol

All I ask is why?

hmmm... I don't understand how one or two days, or releasing during the week instead of the weekend, can really make a difference. But then again, the sooner Terminator and Transformers gets here, the better. Too bad they're not releasing on the same day so we could see who's the real boss. PS. Go Arnie... well, son of Arnie!

I think Terminator or Night at the Museum needs to move. And Fast. Its gonna hurt the success of both movies when there is a free weekend or two in June with nothing good coming out. One of them better grab at it.

At least they didnt delay it by 7 months like (Cough) Warner Bros, Harry potter and the half blood prince (Cough) Though i wont be seeing Terminator anyway or Friday the 13th both of these seem crap and Friday the 13th showed all the death scenes in its first trailer. Oh and apparently there is already news of two terminator salvation sequels and another Friday the 13th film.

Anything that helps this movie release faster and eventually disappear gets my support.
