Two More New Action Photos from Neil Marshall's Centurion

There's not much else worth checking out today, so I thought I'd write about these two new photos found in the latest issue of Empire that are from Neil Marshall's new movie Centurion. We've written about this movie a few times before and are still waiting for a trailer, but in the meantime, these two photos do look pretty badass. Centurion is an epic action adventure film set in 117 AD about a group of Roman soldiers who must fight for their lives behind enemy lines after their legion is decimated in a devastating guerrilla attack. This stars Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, Noel Clarke, David Morrisey, JJ Feild, and Olga Kurylenko.
Centurion is both written and directed by British filmmaker Neil Marshall, of Dog Soldiers, The Descent, and Doomsday previously. I've liked everything I've seen for Centurion so far, including these two photos (I love that blue coloring), but I'm still a bit worried. I was excited for Doomsday, too, and I ended up hating that movie. Although, I think because Centurion is set in one time period (and doesn't have crazy wasteland punk gangsters) that it'll be a lot better than Doomsday at the very least. Here's to hoping we see a trailer for it sometime soon! We'll keep our eyes open for more updates on Centurion as they arrive. Still excited?

As someone who plays a lot of Rome: Total War, I'm very excited for this. We haven't had a big budget Ancient Rome movie since Gladiator. Bring it on!

Also a Rome: Total War guy, so looking foward to it. I also loved Doomsday - if you don't worry about things being bit rediculous (it is just a movie), it's fun.

Fassbender is the man. He was perfect in Inglourious Basterds.

#9, i think the artistic style will be trying to capture the mood of the situation/times. the 2 screens give the feel of a visceral, violent world.
