Watch This: International Trailer for Matt Damon's Green Zone
You may have already seen this, but if not, here's your chance. If you have, well, watch it again. Earlier this week the official trailer for Paul Greengrass' Green Zone starring Matt Damon hit the web. It was a great trailer but most people complained that it looked too much like another Bourne movie. Later that same day an international version of the Green Zone trailer hit MSN. It's a different trailer that presents the story in a more coherent and progressive way. It still looks a bit like another Bourne movie, but it's actually a better trailer than the first. Knowing even more of the story, I'm actually more excited to see this. So check it out!
Watch the international trailer for Paul Greengrass' Green Zone:
About a pair of CIA agents (Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear) on the trail of Weapons of Mass Destruction and a foreign correspondent following their mission. Inspired by "Imperial Life in the Emerald City."
Green Zone is directed by Paul Greengass of Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum as well as Bloody Sunday and United 93. The script was written by Brian Helgeland, of L.A. Confidential, Conspiracy Theory, Mystic River, and Man on Fire previously. This is loosely based on Rajiv Chandrasekaran's non-fiction book The Imperial Life in Emerald City. Universal will be bringing Green Zone to theaters on March 12th, 2010.

The action looks great, but I am pretty sure the plot would be convoluted beyond normal reasoning. Usually when they try push a 2:30min trailer way ahead of a movie release it somehow seems desperate. I think I will wait for the reviews for this one.

This is a far better Trailer than the one shown the other day it gives more detail in the Storyline than the firstone, it might and i mean might not be just another Bourne Rip off.
Cineprog on Oct 31, 2009
looks pretty good just way to much shaky cam. it's like the camera operator has Parkinson's.

LOL Taylor. Making fun of peoples disabilities is funny.

This is HUGELY better than the first trailer. Love me some Matt Damon. But why is Jason Isaacs talking so strangely? Is that supposed to be an American accent? So odd...

isaacs was the man on brotherhood

I can see why people are complaining there are some traces, perhaps in the camera work and in some plot lines, but I'm not discourage by that. The movie looks like is going to be kick ass, where do I sign in?

lets hope that Damon hasn't type-casted himself! this looks pretty good.

Dude, this is is Matt Damon playing a guy like Jason Bourne, in a not Jason Bourne movie. ;). I love the Bourne series so I'll take a Bourne knock off and it's director every day of the week.

So it's just like another movie in the mold of Body of Lies and The Kingdom and Syriana and Lions for Lambs? When they are going to give us anything good about Iraq that actually seems at all realistic and meaningful? It doesn't even have to be pro-American foreign policy, just show what it's really like for the men on the ground. So far we've had two excellent Iraq movies: Black Hawk Down (which was set in Somalia, but still felt relevant) and The Hurt Locker.

the first trailer looked like another bourne movie, and this trailer looks like a documentary. i love matt damon, but i won't be watching this.

No.17, you're right. If this movie is some sort of democrat party/weak foreign policy/the world loves us now/Obama is the messiah/liberal b.s., I wont go see it either.
Cajun_Mike on Nov 1, 2009
The movie has a 'Bourne' feel to it, but it's still caught my interest.

#17: HBO's Generation Kill.
Shikaka on Nov 1, 2009
This is a like a pre-Bourne days before David Webb became Jason Charles Bourne in the Medusa & the Operation Treadstone project. Anyhow I'm itching for this, why it's set for next years is weak though. As for Generation Kill, sucks it was just a short mini series. A longer 12 part series would have been best in my opinion cause an ongoing series would have been wow but who would have the balls to continue with such a thing?

Sorry all I see is "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Daaaaaaaaaaaaamon" (thanks South Park!) Plus, love how the movies is like "You know who the bad guys are? US!". Way to be bold there Hollywood.

Doesn't really matter if it's 'Bourne Like', still wanna watch it no matter how it does at the reviews.
SLee on Nov 3, 2009
Looks like Hurt Locker? You obviously haven't seen Hurt Locker.
Squiggly_P on Nov 3, 2009

dave13 on Nov 8, 2009
#2 how could you not like matt damon in the boure movies like everybody else says modern warfare movie but at least they got the guys from bourne. bourne working for the government, that's a change
max s. on Nov 11, 2009
How the hell can anyone compare this to a Bourne movie? I don't see the slightest similarity, lead actor aside.
Bronzelike on Dec 10, 2009
This is just a mix of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and the movie "First Blood" aka "Rambo"
Soldier Spectator (Ooh-rah) on Jan 29, 2010
This is a liberal biased film and I will not give my money to an anti-american trash film. Damon is the biggest liberal tool out there.
