WORTH WATCHING
Wow - Another Stunning Watchmen TV Spot!
by Alex Billington
February 14, 2009
While every other previous TV spot we've seen has been about the energy and excitement associated with Watchmen, none of them have really touched on the tragedy and sadness associated with it. However, this one today finally shows us, albeit very briefly, the kind of emotions and tragedy that the characters in this world are suffering. I absolutely love the music in this and I really hope that it's part of Tyler Bate's score from the movie, and if it isn't, someone please tell me what it is. I'm completely caught up in Watchmen mania right now and all I'm doing now is just counting down the hours until I get to finally see it.
Watch the third TV spot for Watchmen:
Watchmen is directed by Zack Snyder (of Dawn of the Dead and 300) and is written by David Hayter (The Scorpion King, X-Men, X-Men 2) and Alex Tse. The film is an adaptation of Alan Moore's highly acclaimed award winning graphic novel of the same name. Watchmen officially arrives in theaters everywhere on March 6th, 2009. Stay tuned for even more Watchmen coverage, photos, and more here on FS.net!

Actually, while I liked the t.v spot, I though that the music in trailer 2 of Watchmen was a lot better. It had more of an emotional urgency. Can't wait for the movie either way.

Um, #7, not really. It's actually the shittiest trailer they've released yet. Yeah, that blew.

No not a all it showed the characters are hurting and are flawed comedian saying Jon is loosing touch with humanity. Then we have Laurie saying you don't know what it is like to be a crime fighter talking about her struggles being forced into crime fighting. Adrian claiming we can save this world Dan saying what happened to us referring to crime fighters.I personally think it gets the book across much better than "you haven't seen heroes like this before" lol

Alex the song is Dionysus by Jocelyn Pool, accoridng to my friend. If youre looking for Bates' score I'm pretty sure that on the main Watchmen site the music playing for each each character bio is from the score.

While I really like this t.v. spot, I'm a little worried about Malin Akerman's acting. She seems a tad flat. That said, looking forward to March!

I think this a great trailer for the theme of Watchman. I just get the impression just from that small clip that this movie is about mistakes, despair, and other qualities our emo friends have; which always makes compelling drama. I'm more jazzed than ever for this movie. It's going to be great

SAME OLD RECYCLED SHIT...this movie is a Illuminati luciferian ritual. Don't fall for it.

I think the music, while a step forward from the previous LOTR-type one, is also a step back from the Muse and Smashing Pumpkins trailer. I really do like the inclusion of Spectre's dialogue in the beginning and the shot of Rorshach and the prostitute though. Showing this many pieces of the puzzle hopefully does not give away the picture on the box.

I'm going to see this movie for only one thing and that's sexy Akerman. She's hot with her costume.

I apologise enquiring about the exhibition of tits in this feature film. But nothing like showing some tit in between dysfunctional superheroes whining and crying and a stupid squid ending. I felt that was a big letdown like the boring darkknight movie.

Eh, that spot wasn't the best. But this movie is still looking like it's going to blow me away.

I would rather watch elektra on dvd than this cheat. The novel was out of world. But the movie is all about style. Well, cant complain about free surprise screening though:-)the audience got all wet, but i was disappointed. Btw elekra comment is a joke:)

Btw, the end sequence will appeal to the non fanboy type regular movie goer. But lot of people in the audience expected a fantastic four kinda movie with the xmen fun. Not xmen3 though, which i thought was more entertainin than the borin first one.not x2.

300 wasn't for me, and I've never been able to trust trailers since War of the Worlds, but I'm very interested to see how this film turns out.

I think this movie will show exactly how does it feel to be a Super Hero. It's not about the action in the movie or how the kill the villains, it's just how people feel about them and how they are trying to protect them while people despise them. This should be how superhero movies be like.
