Alicia Silverstone

Yes, she's coming back! ScreenDaily (via SlashFilm) is reporting that Alicia Silverstone will be reuniting with Clueless director Amy Heckerling for her upcoming vampire love movie Vamps. The project was first announced last November, described as a "romantic comedy with vampires." The script, by Heckerling, focuses on two young female vampires living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality. From the director of Clueless? Sounds fun! And with the star of Clueless, too? Even better! I already like this more than Diablo Cody's Sweet Valley High.

Silverstone will play one of the vampires opposite Krysten Ritter (last seen in "Breaking Bad" and "Woke Up Dead"), who is making her first feature starring role. Production is set to begin in April. Red Hour Films, Lucky Monkey Pictures partners Lauren Versel and Maria Teresa Arida, and Molly Hassell are producing. I think I've already said enough about how excited I am to see this pair working together again. I'm not that big of a Clueless fan (and this probably won't be better), but it's always great to see a combo that worked out incredibly well once before working together again. We'll definitely keep you updated on this one. Cool?

A vampire movie aimed at females. Wait, wait, don't tell me...I know I've seen something like that before.....

Are you joking Alex, or are you actually excited for this?...I couldn't tell if your article was sarcasm or not. This doesn't sound like a project that you would be supporting seeing as the vampires aren't the old school blood thirsty demons you look for in vampire films.

Sounds like a lotta fun to me.

Damn looks like Alicia loves her some hard drugs. And I hated that stupid girl in Breaking Bad. She was an evil wench. Oddly enough, loved her some hard drugs.

Yeah was thinking the same #3.....Not the same girl from Batman and Robin thats for sure, from that picture she looks more like Jena Malone.
