Okay, you've got to see this! From the creators of the Cinemash series, MEAN Magazine, comes a new music video series made for MTV called Supervideo. Starting off with a bang is Supervideo: LCD f/Kendrick, combining diverse talents of Training Day creator David Ayer, Oscar nominated actress Anna Kendrick, and the music of the Grammy-nominated band LCD Soundsystem. The song "Pow Pow" from LCD's current album This Is Happening was used as inspiration for the narrative of the ethereally enveloped atmosphere with Anna Kendrick portraying a mysterious deity, "collecting the souls of wicked men." Check it out below.
Was that awesome or what? Thanks to MTV for the video. Supervideo: LCD f/Kendrick - This is the story of a mysterious woman (Anna Kendrick) and her entourage of lawyers and bodyguards as they travel through the underworld of Los Angeles to capture the souls of notorious villains. However, her true powers are not as they appear. As explained by MTV - Supervideo will give unique filmmakers the opportunity and artistic license to experiment with various music video formats: short form narrative, montage, animation, abstract and others, to the rhythmtoday's most exciting music. We'll let you know when the next cool video turns up!

Nice! Love me some LCD Soundsystem. Kendricks does seem like an....odd....choice for this, but it works!

If that's what they call music now a days, I'll be starting up my new band tomorrow. Of course, Anna looks great, as usual (shwingggg) ..... 😉
