Little Fockers Trailer

This Christmas… We hope you don't see this. After Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, we thought that "franchise" had wrapped up, but they're back, all of them: Robert De Niro to Ben Stiller to Owen Wilson to Dustin Hoffman to Barbra Streisand as well as newcomers like Jessica Alba and Laura Dern. Universal has debuted the first teaser trailer for Little Fockers on Apple today. As expected, the logical progression of the Focker family is to raise two five-year old twins in a film that revolves around the couple trying to cope with raising their children. I'm not a fan of this series so I don't have much to say, but heck it out anyway!

Watch the first official trailer for Paul Weitz's Little Fockers:

Little Fockers is directed by Oscar nominated (for co-writing About a Boy) American filmmaker Paul Weitz, of American Pie, Down to Earth, About a Boy, In Good Company, American Dreamz and Cirque du Freak previously. The screenplay was written by John Hamburg (Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Along Came Polly, Meet the Fockers, I Love You Man) & Larry Stuckey (Me, My Friend and I) and is the latest sequel following Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers from 2000 and 2004, respectively. Universal is distributing the film, which is a DreamWorks SKG production. Little Fockers will arrive in theaters on December 22nd this fall.

Harvey Keitel is awesome, but it is not enough to save this bad series of recycled comedies.

i'd at least watch it...wouldn't see it in theaters

HARVEY KEITEL!!! He can save anything...

9

yeah. Harvey Keitel is a pretty cool guy. I can see this bombing at the box office just cause no one cares. Like, it's just the same old antics from the first two films.

@dude, i hope he can save anything because this looks awful, the last one had its moments but was nothin on the first one, i kno i'll at the cinema to see this anyway, i just hope they get their shit together on this one...

I don't think Dustin Hoffman is in it. Which sucks!!

I thought the first one was dumb. Definately overrated. The 2nd one was tolerable because Hoffman and Streisand were funny. Stiller and DeNiro are both annoying in these films and there was no one else in the first one to make it tolerable.

jjboldt on Jun 25, 2010

The first two are guilty pleasures of mine so I'll definitely be checking this one out. Hoffman is credited on IMDB so I think he's in this one too.

Wow! I started this little minute and forty-five second gem thinking, 'you know what, I don't think I'm onboard with another movie in this franchise unless there's a good boner joke involved' and then BAM, right at the last minute: pure comedy gold! Here's one guy who hopes this movie series has the longevity, number of sequels, and cinematic presence that "The Land Before Time" movies have achieved.

Wow, they put the erectile-dysfunction-sticking-a-needle-in-a-penis part in the trailer???

I love both "Meet the Parents" and " Meet The Fockers" and while serchin earlier i found out theres third one comin out "Little Fockers" or "Meet The Little Fockers" although imbd says it comes out feb 2008 , other web sayin it will be end of 2007 . Does anyone know ANY detail about this movie?

I really like De Niro in comedies. He has that rough dry sense of humor that I find funny. The movie Showtime didn't do really well, but I really liked it and thought it was hilarious and is one of my favorites.

Looks funny, but I wonder if this joke hasnt run its course?

@ 11 - I was thinking the same, perhaps he either passed away in the story or Harvey Keitel is taking over the role

It saddens me to see an actor like Robert de Niro accepting below-the-belt (pun intended) roles like this one, but I guess that roles for people his age don't abound nowadays, do they? In any case, for all you Harvey Keitel fans out there (and it seems we're many), watch him in Ridley Scott's first movie, "The Duellists". Great (and little-known) movie, awesome Keitel.

"Universal is distributing the film, which is a DreamWorks SKG production"" --Why is it a Paramount logo then? Did Paramount get the rights to the franchise from Dreamworks during the split?

I laughed at the firs two, but they have not aged well. I chuckled at the Turkey bit, but then it was just, "Oh look something stupid and uncomfotable is happening and the kid is yelling! Is'nt that funny and endearing?" No, no it is not.

BEn Stiller must be hurting for money. RENTAL!

There are some moments that had me chuckling, but it mostly seemed like the same overdone jokes.

Sigh..........

FancyMonocle on Jun 25, 2010

#23 I think a sure sign he is hurting for money is that he is pushing Zoolander 2.

jjboldt on Jun 25, 2010

Dustin Hoffman isn't in this one. He wanted too much dough apparently, or maybe a bigger role. Streisand is barely in it, so they say. But she looks cute in this quick clip. Lord knows this one has to be better than the second, which is manic and sad. Greed is a terrible thing, Mr. Stiller.

Is it just a typo at the top then when it says everyone is back including Dustin Hoffman

What is the audience for this? Is it a family film? Is it a film for adults? Is it a film for teenagers? 1) If it's a family film, then why the hell are they featuring arterial spray, penis-stabbing jokes and erection humor? 2) If it's a film for adults, then why the hell is it so immature, with the penis jokes... 3) If it's a teenager / young adult film, then why the hell is it about parents of small children and old people? There's no real audience for this shit beyond the late-20's early-30's market of people who have kids but who probably shouldn't because they still think shit like this is funny. It's kind of a niche market, really. So of course they'll market the hell out of it and of course it'll rake in some insane profit for no real reason beyond the fact that people will just go see whatever the hell you tell them to. I mean, am I the only one who thinks shit like this is insulting? They're making dick and fart jokes, people! Those of us who aren't mentally challenged grew out of that sort of shit when we were ten or so.

at 58 seconds.....jurassic park lady got OLD.. but i will be seeing this movie.

39

God how I loathe Stiller.....if possible, looks worse that the others. A predictable release date for a "family" film in order to milk $$$ over the Holiday. Good job Squiggly.....the only thing that could make it worse is Rogen using the same humor he is so "famous" for. Such a waste.

Clover on Jun 28, 2010

What made this 2nd one funny was Hoffman & DeNiro's chemistry. No Hoff, so what now? I'm sure it'll be funny, but in a Shrek 3 sort of way ya know?

Nothing back this trailer really pulls me in like the last two.... BUuuuut. I'll still check it out because I like a series that keeps on keeping.

Nice information. And now a days there are a lot of facilities offering by different banks so that to increase the user rate. And recently military credit cards are offering the best facilities. The best thing about this card is it automatically pays you the rewards in your account monthly without the usual $50 minimum like most credit cards.
