Check This Out: Another Dark 'Cowboys & Aliens' Teaser Poster

This upcoming genre mash-up is easily still one of my most anticipated movies next summer, but they've got a long ways to go if they want to actually turn this into a huge hit, especially since it's coming out late in the summer, the same weekend as Comic-Con and two weeks after the final Harry Potter. Empire has unveiled another dark, shadowy teaser poster for Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens featuring Daniel Craig once again. This compliments the first teaser poster (which Favreau recently complained was too similar to the I Am Number Four poster, but I don't think so) as well as the badass teaser trailer. Check out the new poster!
Craig plays Jake Lonergan, a stranger with no memory of his past who stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. But the town is soon invaded by aliens and Jake must pull together a posse comprised of former opponents to combat these extraterrestrials. In addition to Daniel Craig, Cowboys & Aliens also stars Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Noah Ringer, Clancy Brown and the legendary Harrison Ford as Col. Dolarhyde. Jon Favreau is directing this adaptation from a screenplay co-written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci & Damon Lindelof. Universal is bringing Cowboys & Aliens in only 2D to theaters on July 29th, 2011 next summer.

Looks like a poorly done photoshopped fan poster, looks terrible. Also looks like the Iron Man 2 poster, same blue clouds, so boring! Hope the movie is ok.

Hey LINKFX, sadly I found the real one online, click here. Apparently the marketing department sent it out early, but test audiences said there was not enough orange in it and the balance had to be restored. He he. Apparently Daniel Craig being in the western time period is Number One. I am number 4 is being released as a sequel prequel before C&As like Episodes 4-6, and 1-3. Daniel Craig....He is Number One!
