Check This Out: 'Mind-Blowing' New Motion Poster for Saw 3D

Note: I'm not calling this poster "mind-blowing", it simply is mind-blowing (and they use that wording as part of the tagline anyway). Lionsgate has unveiled another brand new motion poster for Saw 3D (or rather Saw VII, most likely the final film in the franchise) over on UGO. They've been making creatively disgusting and edgy posters for the Saw series for years now, but with the MPAA clamping down, they've had to resort to destroying inanimate objects (instead of body parts), like a stone version of Jigsaw's(?) head this time. It looks cool to see it frozen in mid-explosion, but I'm not any more interested in seeing the film. Check it out.
According to producers, this will be the final film in the Saw franchise, but as always that might not be true, depending on how successful this one is. However, I think the real question is whether anyone wants more?
Saw VII is directed by former editor Kevin Greutert, who edited all six of the previous Saw movies before this one and previously directed Saw VI from last year, for better or worse. The screenplay for this one was again written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who broke out with Feast and later wrote Saw IV, V and VI. Lionsgate is bringing Saw 3D to theaters everywhere on October 29th. Anyone going to see this?

Screw you all...I love Saw and look forward to it every year. Sure it's campy as hell and has terrible writing and acting, but it's the only original horror franchise of our generation like Friday the 13th, Child's Play, or Nightmare on Elm St before it. I'm glad we have an "unnecessary sequel" villain to follow for a decade even if the films get worse each time. It has nostalgia for me, which no other film has been able to create on an annual basis. ...better than a horrible horror reboot in my eyes.

Saw is a franchise like most horror movies that don't stand up after one or two sequels. But that doesn't make them any less enjoyable to watch. They are a lot of fun with cheezy dialogue and just over the top gore, that it's more comical to watch them then actually terrifying. This is also true about Final Destination, that after just the first one they all became comedies with their over the top deaths and of course horrendous dialogue. But by no means does this mean that the companies will stop. These franchises make them money and as long as they keep doing that then there is no reason to stop the gravy train. I for one am okay with this considering I enjoy watching them. They are just fun brainless activity to indulge in every Halloween.

@2 and @3 Okay..really? You would burn down a theater for saw 7 when we have the horrible twilight movies? Go fuck yourselves. Saw is the shit and is the best horror franchise (possibly greatest franchise of all time period).

They should have stuck with the original directer and writer of the first two films, then the rest would have been so much better. But hey, I see all the Saw films every year so....

I'm stoked, The saw movies have some of the best stories for horror movies, for those of you bashing it, you must have missed half of the series. Saw 6 was awesome and was probably the 2nd best movie in the series. The only duds in the series was 2 and 5 the rest are better than most movies at the theatres these days.

@ 2 and 3 ...Dont do that cuz some people wil survive and they will have to dodge death in Saw 8. Cool Poster.
