Cillian Murphy Cast in 'I'm.mortal' with Timberlake & Seyfried

After living in Chris Nolan's dream world in this summer's runaway hit Inception, Heat Vision says Cillian Murphy will next be living forever in the sci-fi drama I'm.mortal. Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, Lord of War) is directing with Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake already signed on to star in this story set in the future when the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, and the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. And with this, Murphy continues his trend of choosing unique and interesting roles.
The plot follows a poor man named Will (Timberlake) who suddenly receives a fortune (of time I assume?), but becomes the target of a murder investigation. While on the run he kidnaps an heiress (Seyfried) which doesn't seem like the best idea to help his case. Meanwhile, Murphy will play an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers who is apparently "as precise as the time he keeps." This sounds like an incredibly unique sci-fi story but, like Inception (or Niccol's Gattaca before this) still somewhat grounded in nature. We'll definitely be paying close attention to this for more updates, that is for sure. Anyone interested?

I'm a big fan of Andrew Niccol's work (save for the forgettable S1mone), and I'm really looking forward to this.

Gattaca was and continues to be a science fiction film for the ages.

well, i'm going to try and reserve judgement till a trailer hits. i 'm not wild about the premise/plot and the title isn't very good - i like cillian murphy; althhough, i don't like justin timberlake in movies at all. i'm not very hopeful for this (to be good); so, if the trailer reflects some promise in the movie, i'll be plesantly surprised.

I'm a huge fan of Niccol,Gattaca's one of the most under-rated movies I've ever seen. And his other stuff is great too. This sounds brilliant.

This picture of Cillian Murphy makes me feel uncomfortable, it looks like someone photoshopped his head onto someone else's body.

Cillian's naturally blest with a totally unique beauty for a man. Make's me swoon still after 3 years watching this incredibly gifted actor, you forget this is a film sometimes. He's beautiful but there's no hiding the man in him. Uplifted every time I see him wade thru the money wasting, intelligence killing scripts he must have to go thru to always find some evolved, inspired diamond of a story as this is. Great job Cillian! You did it again!
