Creepy Viral Videos Being Sent Out for 'Paranormal Activity 2'

Let's see what kind of viral tricks Paramount has up their sleeves. I received an e-mail from our friends at Bloody-Disgusting earlier today saying they came across an "awesome" viral for Paranormal Activity 2 that seems to have even spooked them. Apparently packages are being delivered containing nothing but USB drives that have a video on them (UGO got one, too). The video file, which only lasts 18 seconds long, is one of the shots of a living room from the Paranormal Activity 2 trailer but has some extra freaky footage in it right when the clock strikes 1:22AM on the tape. If you're into this kind of creepy horror stuff, then read on.
I've included an embed of the video below for reference. Right at that 1:22AM time, the camera flips out to some shots of a creepy demon girl and then an upside-down shot of a freaky baby as well. Then it switches back to the regular view and we see the baby walking in the room, which is just creepy anyway. As everyone predicted when the first trailer debuted, it looks like the baby plays an important part in the sequel's plot, I just hope they don't get too gimmicky with the kid. But that definitely ups the ante in terms of really making people nervous when a baby is involved. I'm already getting nervous chills just thinking about the footage.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm really not that interested in Paranormal Activity 2, I feel like all the buzz the first one had is now gone and there is nothing but a "we're trying to build this into a franchise" feeling left. They're obviously trying to play to the fans as best they can in this sequel and get those who are interested in the creepiness and concept to fall for this one as well. More viral clues include a return address located at Franklin Pierce University, but other than that, we have no idea where they're going with this viral besides trying to build buzz with scares. Oh and the video from UGO is also different enough to watch.

That's it? Really? Not even thirty seconds of footage? I can't believe the Let Me In trailer that lead into that viral clip was longer than the clips itself.

The Let Me In trailer was better than the Paranormal teaser, oh well. I'm more excited for Scar 3D anyways, it has a good trailer too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pQqoVhb7m4

I didn't notice the baby standing there at first. Gave me the willies. I might go and see this now. The first one was a bit slow for me.
