Final Trailer for Universal's Despicable Me is Finally Unveiled
Over the last year or so, we've been shown a total of three (first, second, third) trailers for Universal's new animated movie Despicable Me that have slowly introduced us to various characters and the plot. Well, actually, we've seen none of the plot until now. Apple has the final theatrical trailer for Despicable Me that actually contains real footage from the movie and paints a pretty picture of what the story is actually about. While I'm used to hating on this movie, I feel a little bit of sympathy because those kids that screw with his plans look so damn cute! Other than that, this still looks as terribly unfunny as it did before. Take a look!
Watch the fourth and final trailer for Universal's Despicable Me:

A trio of orphan girls cause the normally deplorable and evil Gru to rethink his plan to steal the moon. Our "hero" Gru is voiced by Steve Carell, Vector is voiced by Jason Segel, Dr. Nefario is voiced by Russell Brand.
Despicable Me is co-directed by Pierre Coffin (Gary's Fall), Chris Renaud (No Time for Nuts), and Sergio Pablos (Tarzan) of the new animation house Illumination Entertainment. The screenplay was co-written by writing partners Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul of films like Bubble Boy, The Santa Clause 2, Horton Hears a Who!, College Road Trip. Universal will be bringing Despicable Me to theaters on July 9th this summer.

Yeah... i don't wanna hate this. This Kid's, this history, maybe, just maybe it work. And probably will be a hit to the kids, the yellow man's will became toys, but i think the history was completly told in this trailer. Seems Dexter (the cartoon) a little, maybe because of the plot. I Will watch and try to enjoy.

Well atleast it looks better than Megamind from Dreamworks. Interesting that two movies both about the villain are coming out relatively close to one another.

Is that annoying BIG voice really necessary? IN EYE POPPING 3D!!! at least the premise seems original, might give a shot.

why didn't they show this trailer to begin with? I wanna see it now. The last 2 trailers didn't do it for me. But this one does.

The only thing I liked about the trailer is the line: "You guys actually like this? This is garbage!"

I have said it before and I will say it again. I love the look of this movie. I really can't wait to see it!

It looks okay, pretty forgettable in the long run, the "Eye popping 3-D" comment ruined it a little.

I love those minions! A whole film of them would work. Looks nutty, I'll see it. Oh and cartoons in 3D work because, they're cartoons.
Moviegimp on Mar 25, 2010
Well, you did say that 'How to Train Your Dragon" was going to be a bad movie...
Cody on Mar 25, 2010
This looks so adorable. And I was completely on board. Then they said 3D 😐

it just keeps looking more amusing! but will it succeed like Meatballs or "How to Train your Dragon" which most people on this site, including myself, voice negative opinions based on the trailers?
