Robin Hood Behind-the-Scenes

Although we've already seen the final trailer for Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, there's still plenty more to see from the movie, even though it's due out in only a few months. We also know that it'll be hitting the Cannes Film Festival in May before it opens in theaters in the US (thankfully not in 3D). NCM has just debuted this two-and-a-half minute featurette for Robin Hood that will also be showing in before movies in most theaters (only at Cinemark, Regal, AMC chains). Despite this does look a bit like Gladiator all over again, it does look really really good, and I personally can't wait to see, I'm expecting to really love it. Check it out below!

Watch the behind-the-scenes featurette for Ridley Scott's Robin Hood from YouTube:

Follows Robin (Russell Crowe) from his early days in King Richard's army to his return to Nottingham to his creation of a band of mercenaries who challenge the sheriff and eventually try to prevent civil war.

Robin Hood is directed by British filmmaker Ridley Scott, of many classics like Alien, Blade Runner, Black Rain, G.I. Jane, Gladiator, Hannibal, Black Hawk Down, American Gangster, and many more. The script is written by Oscar winner Brian Helgeland, of L.A. Confidential, Conspiracy Theory, Mystic River, Man on Fire, Green Zone. Universal is bringing Robin Hood to theaters everywhere on May 14th this summer.

a. I can't see myself not getting totally engulfed in this film. It looks stunning. b. I'd watch Gladiator again, regardless. But this is Robin Hood!

Im so tired of the comparisons to Gladiator....I guess by that logic Black hawk down was just gladiator with guns.

Looks brilliant, but I still think Bale would have been a better choice for Robin.
