Buried Poster

Lionsgate has just debuted a "motion poster" for Buried, that Ryan Reynolds buried alive thriller, over on Yahoo. Last month we debuted the first official teaser poster for Buried, which was an impressive and bold design featuring nothing but a bunch of black space and Reynolds in the coffin. This motion poster is a spin on that original teaser poster but with some additional text and the footage also seen the teaser trailer. I was hesitant about posting this at first, just because it's more of the same stuff we've seen before, but I really like the reveal and the way it's put together, so I thought why not feature it today anyway. Check this out below.

As mentioned on the poster, Lionsgate has also launched the official website: ExperienceBuried.com.

A U.S. contractor working in Iraq awakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. Buried is directed by Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo CortΓ©s, of the films 15 Days, The Contestant, and Dirt Devil previously. The screenplay was written by first-time writer Chris Sparling. This was one of my favorite films from Sundance (read my review) and I can't wait for everyone else to be able to experience it as well! Buried hits theaters in October.

"His oxygen is running out"...SO HE'LL LIGHT HIS ZIPPO TO CONSUME IT EVEN FASTER HAHAHA....seriously that total disregard for any logic scares me away from this movie alone. I mean dont get me wrong this looks like it could be sweet, but the writer/director didnt think of that?

hmmm #8 you wake up in pitch black darkness. your hands tied. what do you do??? make quick calculations in your head and assume hel if its pitch black its aw well might be a coffin so i am deep under 6 feet. i shouldnot light my lighter in my pocket to even verify my whereabout. i might need the oxygen later on πŸ˜€ or as all normal man would do, first make something out of where the heck you are, and understand the situation you are in, try to find a light source, whichever is closest to you. your lighter a mini pocket maglight or even your cell phone... if ones sit is established and one still lights that lighter than i agree with you πŸ˜€ i love Ryan Reynolds. he is everything his father is and even some more πŸ˜€ and i believe this movie will be good gotta wait and see πŸ˜€

He seems to realize and put the lighter out pretty quick, #8.

Hey Cody w. I think they revised the lighter, and he quits using it and uses the flashlight and cellphone light.

Ok, this is just stupid. Motion Poster? All this is, is the same retarded trailer that shows "literally" absolutely nothing.
