Cherrybomb Trailer

Two guys. One girl. Game on. This is a wonderful trailer for Easter, it's fast-paced and quite amusing to watch. Cherrybomb is a British coming-of-age film starring Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in Harry Potter), Robert Sheehan (Nathan on "Misfits") and Kimberley Nixon (Wild Child, Easy Virtue). We actually featured an early promo trailer for this almost a year ago to the day (give or take about two days). Although I don't think this looks amazing, it looks like your standard coming-of-age indie flick and I thought it looked good enough to feature today. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm definitely still interested in checking it out. Have fun.

Watch the first official trailer for Cherrybomb from YouTube:

Cherrybomb follows three teenagers Luke, Malachy, and Michelle as they embark on a wild weekend of drinking, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. But what starts out as a game quickly spins out of control.

Cherrybomb was co-directed by first-time filmmakers Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn. The screenplay was written by newcomer Daragh Carville, of only a film called Middletown previously. This first premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival last year and also went on to play at the Dublin, Belfast, and LA Film Festivals last year. It was eventually picked up by Little Film Company for US distribution. However, we're not sure when this will arrive in US theaters at all, so stay tuned for any updates if you're interested.

every Hollywood "good boy/girl" has to go and do an indie sex/drug romp to try and break their image and say its to open their acting range, when in fact they just dont want to be known as the character they first appeared Anne Hathaway, first appeared as Princess Diaries then did Havoc and Brokeback Mountain where she was nude. Hillary Duff, first appeared as that horrible Lizzy McGuire chick, then went off and tried to became a slutty singer...Lindsey Lohan...Parent Trap and everyone knows what she is doing now...even the oldies like River Phoenix and Cory Haim. These kids do roles that make them famous, then try to break their image by doing drugs and sex stuff on screen (and for many in real life as well) and it turns them into Hollywood rejects.

I love how everybody' are giving credit to Empire when they are not the source of that trailer. They came up with the trailer basicely one week after all the fansites. How pathetic is that?!?

#5 Hathaway was the best thing about Havoc regardless of showing her tits for all of three seconds, and gave a great performance in Brokeback Mountain, and she has had a good career so far. You also listed Hillary Duff and claimed she became a slutty singer and I assume you're saying her performance in War Inc.? Well if that is the case no one could have survived that film it was terrible. Do you believe the same for Keria Knightley? She showed her tits in The Hole and her career is going great. I get your point about Actors jumping the shark and throwing everyone for a loop, but it only happens to media whore like Lohan etc (who did it too her self) but others its the media that turns us against an actor, in all of their infinite wisdom about right and wrong. I hope you aren't saying that when an actor or actress goes nude and does onscreen drugs it ruins their image for you? I doubt its true, your comments are usually valid.

The film doesn't look amazing but it looks interesting and i think I would definitely rent it. I saw a movie called Driving Lessons on cable and though the movie was a litttle boring he did a great job with the role. I enjoy seeing actors break out of their molds. He definitely has a job a head of him in that regard.
