Mila Kunis Joins Mark Wahlberg in Seth MacFarlane's Movie 'Ted'?

Mila Kunis

We recently learned that Mark Wahlberg will definitely be leading the R-rated comedy Ted from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. The story follows an average Boston guy who's normal except for the childhood wish he made that his teddy bear would come to life — and it did. Years later, as an adult, the bear (voiced by MacFarlane) is still around as his best friend but has become a carousing, irresponsible slacker who gets in the way of his buddy committing to adulthood and a girl he loves. The cast is now growing, as Heat Vision reports Mila Kunis (Black Swan) and Adam Scott (Step Brothers, "Party Down") are joining the comedy.

Kunis will play Wahlberg's girlfriend who just wants to take their relationship to the next level, but finds difficulty with Ted's overbearing nature and general douchebaggery. Scott will be playing her slimy boss who "comforts" her in this difficult time. While many people seem to think "Family Guy" has gone downhill in recent years, the animated comedy still makes me laugh plenty, and having MacFarlane bring his trademark humor to the big screen seems only natural. After all, the adult bear just seems like another version of the Griffin family dog Brian but with much more frat boy flare. Count me interested and anxious to see how it turns out. How about you?

UPDATE: MTV spoke to Mila Kunis who revealed this deal may not be as finalized as it seemed. The actress said, "I found out about it from an email that a friend of mine sent me. It's a script that I read that Seth is directing. I read it on and off for two years through different rewrites. It's a really great script. If time permits and scheduling works out I'd love to do it. I don’t even know if there's a set date. I know Wahlberg and I did a table read and he was great. It's a really, really funny script. Its all just a matter of timing." Stay tuned as this story develops.
