In a final attempt to woo audiences into Jonah Hex in just over three weeks, Warner Bros has debuted a second brand new trailer for the new DC Comics adaptation over on IGN (click to see it in high def). Jonah Hex stars Josh Brolin as the disfigured bounty hunter as well as Megan Fox, John Malkovich, Will Arnett, Michael Fassbender, Michael Shannon and Thomas Lennon. We ran the first trailer back in April but this new trailer is a big improvement and definitely worth checking out. I'm still very excited for this; I know the supernatural stuff seems odd, but I love the style and I cannot wait to see a badass western again. Enjoy!

The story in this movie will follow Jonah Hex (seen with the gun), a disfigured bounty hunter who tracks a voodoo practitioner that wants to raise an army of the undead to liberate the South. Former Pixar animator Jimmy Hayward, who is a big fan of both comics and westerns, is directing. Josh Brolin stars as Jonah Hex and is joined by Megan Fox, John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett & Michael Shannon in the movie. The script was originally written by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor of Crank. They were going to direct this before Hayward. Warner Brothers is bringing Jonah Hex to theaters on June 18th this summer.

That's a whole lot better. Brolin and Fassbender seem great in their roles, as his Fox (don't care what the haters say, she's isn't that bad). To honest I'm bothered by Malkovich for what I've seen he seem's the weakest link...I hope I'm wrong.

I agree with you Xerxex. I never was a big fan of Malkovich's. I like the other trailer, it was more badass than this one. And Megan does what she's supposed to do, give her a break. Although the "wouldn't you?" followed by "do you?" seemed a little forced, but I blame the writers for that.

Agreed, this is a vast improvement over the first trailer. Malkovich isn't shown enough to get a good sense of his performance, but yes, it does look weak by the trailers alone. I can't imagine the film itself is going to blow anyone away, but it's a good vehicle for Josh Brolin.

Certainly looks a lot better than the first trailer. But still, I haven't got much hope for this. Jonah Hex was always a gritty and violent revenge tale - this looks too PG-13. So in that case, I'm more looking forward to The Brigands of Rattlebourge. Having read that script, I can assure you, it's what Jonah Hex should have been - a dark and violent revenge Western, with supernatural elements. This looks crap.

Well Fox still sounds like shes stoned when she talks...this looks like a decent action flick, nothing more nothing less.

What makes the comics good is the simplicity. Jonah Hex with the Pushing Daisies ability to raise the dead, amped up weapons, and all the music video editing -- I fear that this will be dumb. And yes, I mean dumb in a bad way...not any other way...

I can't look past his horrible make-up. That flap of scar tissue across his mouth just doesn't make sense; why would it be in that particular spot?!? And why doesn't he just, you know, go snip snap and fix it? I mean, it clearly restricts his speech, and considering he's a supposed wild west bamf, I'm sure he'd endure the pain. This is driving me crazy! >.< Even more than Megan Fox's wheezy voice. Speak the fuck up, or gtfo already! You're not working on a phone sex line, you're in the wild west with shit blowing up around you. /end rant

Well, I for one am really looking forward to it. IT might be better than the trailer makes it seem.

Rather go see Toy Story 3 to be honest, this looks like a rental.

I'd still rather watch this that Toy Story 2. Unless it turns out that the kid going to college is actually dead and in an alt universe/purgatory if you may, where the toys are there to remind him of better times before a street gang beat him to death for being a teenager who played with Buzz Lightyear. Don't copy this idea Disney, it's already been done. Wicky Wicky Wild Wild West but maybe slightly better? Ahck who knows.

The ending trailer qualifier says it all in a concise, rhetorical, self-referential, and elegant question ... Is that all you've got? and then slaps you with the quick scene transitions leading to absolutely nothing. Sweeeeet Baby Jesus! Count me in and schedule me for a lobotomy while your at it.

I'm sorry, this could have been some bad ass western with a touch of the supernatural fantasy but it instead is a raped hybred bastard of Wild Wild West and Prince of Persia. Your typical big tent Hollywood for 16 year old garbage. Sorry Josh, I wanted to like it. I really did.

Yeah it will probably suck. Josh Brolin is a joke he has never been in a movie i had any desire to see. he just seems like somone my grandma would like. This could have been cool with better casting of Hex.

Still looks cool, but I still think Hex' scar is a bit cheesy.

I love the look of it. Count me in for atleast a rental unless somebody drags me to see it. Toy Story 3 is my priority that weekend. I still believe Fox will become an amazing actress if people give her a chance. Just glad she's not in Transformers 3.

imagine sitting on a chair in the kitchen and Megan Fox is sitting on your thighs facing you while holding on to the back of your chair and she starts to stradel, and then you hear the clapping sound.

It does look bad. Seems like Brolin was willing to take any job he could after W. Also, I don't really care what all of you are saying about Megan Fox.... SHE IS A HORRIBLE ACTRESS. Her face looks as though she could never develop an original thought to save her life; she's just a car model who somehow managed to make it to the big screen and all you guys who jack off to her movie clips are the only ones supporting her.

Looks like total garbage. Megan Fox taints everything she touches.

Could be fun but, oh my god that trailer is almost unwatchable. Do they really need to fade to black every two seconds??

@29 couldn't agree more she's the worst thing in this trailer wouldn't you? can't you? won't you shut the hell up [megan fox]

Megan Fox is a Femmbot created to destroy movies. Josh Brolin is an awesome actor who really seems to kow how to pick his roles and play them. John Malckovich has his good points and bad, if he can amp up the crazy to make up for the fact that he's a big pansy his character might work. Based on this trailer I'd rent this on DVD, but skip it's theatre run which I think will be quite short.
