Get Him to the Greek Red Band Trailer

Back in February, Universal unveiled the first trailer for their big summer comedy Get Him to the Greek starring Russell Brand and Jonah Hill as well as a whole bunch of other actors/musicians like Rose Byrne, P. Diddy, Christina Aguilera, Pink, and many more. Uni has also debuted a new red band trailer for Get Him to the Greek over on MySpace and it looks okay, but not a big improvement over the first trailer honestly. I think some of the humor can get a little dull quickly (like Aziz Ansari's opening), but the rest of it is good. I'm surprised there wasn't more to show in this? Just don't watch it at work or you WILL be fired. Enjoy!

A record company intern is hired to accompany out-of-control British rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) to a concert at LA's Greek Theater. His only warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril.

Get Him to the Greek is both written and directed by comedy mastermind Nicholas Stoller, the filmmaker behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall previously and a screenwriter for Fun with Dick and Jane and Yes Man as well. Jason Segel is also credited for the creation of the character Aldous Snow. Universal is bringing Get Him to the Greek to theaters everywhere on June 4th this summer. So is this something you'll be seeing?

so if this is the alda snow (or however you spell his name) from forgetting sarah marshall does that mean that jonah hill's character is the same character?

Puff Daddy attempting humour, I 'm impressed. Pretty much a regular saturday night out for me, minus the drug mule ass thing.

#5 Aldous Snow, and no its not the same Jonah Hill character, mistake on their part. Unless they say that this character is his twin brother.

I heard on the radio today that Jonah Hill follows in the illustrious footsteps of Jason Segel and goes full frontal in this one...Brutal, but I'm sure it will be hilarious.

Chris on Mar 22, 2010

this is definitely NOT a pass! i've seen most of this in the first trailer and it's STILL funny as hell. we'll be seeing this on opening night.

It does look mildly entertaining. Too bad my righteous hatred for Jonah Hill burns hotter than the fury of a thousand suns.

Craig on Mar 22, 2010

Really, who cares if Jonah Hill isn't the same character he was in Forgetting Sarah whatsherface? ITS A MOVIE, HE'S AN ACTOR! Besides, looks freaking awesome!

nate on Mar 22, 2010

i was wondering about jonah hill too. it doesn't make sense.

I was sold on... "Here comes the airplane".

Dirty Dutchman on Mar 23, 2010

people who claim "pass" on this dont understand humor..

AC on Mar 23, 2010

Its worth a rental... maybe. Russell Brand is not funny.

almartva on Mar 23, 2010

Seems like they're pushing the limits just to push the limits but not getting anywhere with a story. The Hangover did both. This is no Hangover. Just doesn't look that good...a rental maybe

Jonah is looking morbidly obese. How does that translate to funny?

Greedo on Apr 3, 2010

I think the last scene is a metaphor for a crap movie.
