Dinner for Schmucks Trailer

Paramount has debuted a second new trailer on Apple for their summer comedy Dinner for Schmucks starring Paul Rudd and Steve Carell. Oh and the cast also contains Lucy Punch, Jemaine Clement, Zach Galifianakis, Ron Livingston and Bruce Greenwood. I wasn't impressed by the first Dinner for Schmucks trailer, but this one is much better, probably just because they flash so much crazy stuff in front of us in a mere 105 seconds. This looks like one of those absurd, outrageous comedies (like The Hangover) that may just steal the show this summer. You just have to see this trailer. Now I'm looking forward to seeing this!

You can watch the new Dinner for Schmucks trailer in High Definition on Apple

Tim is a rising executive who finds the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry, for his boss's monthly event, a so-called "dinner for idiots," which offers advantages to the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.

Dinner for Schmucks is directed by Jay Roach, of all three Austin Powers movies as well as Mystery Alaska, Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. The script was written by a lot of writers, including Andy Borowitz, Ken Daurio, David Guion, Michael Handelman, Cinco Paul, Francis Veber and Jon Vitti. Too many cooks in the kitchen, possibly? Paramount is bringing Dinner for Schmucks to theaters on July 23rd this summer.

Far better than the first trailer, this looks hilarious. Wonder who'd come out on top in a slow-motion finger-gun fight between Carrell, Galifianakis, Pegg and Frost? Now THAT I'd pay to see. Get it done Edgar.

WTF @ 0:59-1:04??? I thought I was having a flashback. Carell is the king of awkward. I'll see this.

Wow, that was just as bad as the first trailer. Didn't laugh once. I was looking forward to this, but the first trailer put me off, and this one has put me off even further. Heck, Grown Ups is starting to look watchable by comparison.

Agree with #7. This is a remake of a very funny french movie. I hope they don't screw it up too much.

Carell: I don't want to cramp your style. Rudd: It's already cramped. Classic.
