So this is what Ron Howard has been working on? From Angels & Demons to this romantic comedy piece of cra-- I guess you guys should watch the trailer first and judge for yourself. Universal has debuted the first official trailer over on Apple for the Ron Howard directed romantic comedy of sorts The Dilemma starring Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Winona Ryder, Jennifer Connelly, Channing Tatum and Queen Latifah. So this isn't really a romantic comedy, but it's a confrontational/infidelity comedy and that's pretty much the same. This doesn't look terrible, but it just looks so painfully average, I'm surprised its from Ron Howard. Enjoy?

I'm a VV fan but this looks pretty weak. Jennifer Connelly? in a comedy? The Queen? uhggg WHY.

Maroon 5 sold this for me. The song just made this seem better than it might be.

Looks alright. Better than Couples Retreat at least.

Can we all get together and tell someone that Kevin James needs not to be in movies ever again? The guy is awful (like this movie looks to be). It looks like a crappy sequel to Couples Retreat.

theres no dilemma in this. the answer is clear, you tell him. bad concept. im all for ron howard doing a romcom but why this? he could do much better.

I'm sensing that there is a big twist to this story. It could be a few different things.

Hmm... let's see: the last good movie directed by Ron Howard was... Parenthood! So let's give this one the benefit of the doubt, OK... hell, it's GOT to be better than A Beautiful Mind, right (Worst. Best Picture. Ever... well, after Greatest Show on Earth and Crash).

i can't believe ron howard (the guy who brought us brilliant movies like apollo 13) is responsible for this crap. i don't know which is worse in this trailer - the acting or writing. the only thing i found good in the trailer was ann wilson belting out "barracuda". this movie looks like a complete disaster.

We are trusting the DARK TOWER films to Howard after this?

I'm all in for Howard doing something small after spending most of the past decade doing films that were either big Blockbusters or Award Show oriented. I think you guys are being a little harsh on Howard. Not everything he does has to be for The Oscars... This looks like a fast and loose entertaining comedy. I'm sure it'll be quite funny. not Sarah Marshall funny (how many comedies really hit it out of the park these days) but enough for me to warrant the ticket price.

It looks nice to me..I doubt I'll see anything new, but with as many movies as I've seen that's a challenge.

What's the dilemma? I'd bang Winona Ryder, too.

Vince Vaughn needs to step away from anything relating to 'romantic' and/or 'comedy' for, say, about a decade. I know he's got talent but it feels like he's wasting it on guff like this. ps. 'Apture' - really annoying.

Definitely a set-up for a twisty twist twist.... say.. they have an open relationship or something silly like that...
