New 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader' Poster Journeys Out to Sea

In addition to that gloriously posed photo of Reepicheep (now voiced by Simon Pegg!) above, Narnia Fans has also unveiled a fairly epic teaser poster for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader that I thought was worth featuring. The first full trailer for Voyage of the Dawn Treader debuted back in June and looked quite good, I have to say. But I'm not the biggest Narnia fan and I'm worried about this being any good, since the first two weren't my favorites. Despite the rather shabby CGI on the poster, I like that they're going big and bold with this. I'm hoping they can find the right audiences for it. Take a look!
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is directed by British filmmaker Michael Apted, of films like Class Action, Thunderheart, Extreme Measures, The World Is Not Enough, Amazing Grace and The Power of the Game previously. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (You Kill Me, Prince Caspian, Marvel's Captain America) and Michael Petroni (Queen of the Damned, Boys Own Story, Possession). This is based on the third book in C.S. Lewis' beloved Chronicles of Narnia series. 20th Century Fox is bringing Dawn Treader to theaters everywhere, in 3D, on December 10th this winter.

Apparently there are festivals in various countries where people race around in boats designed just like the boat in Zelda. I believe people called it Dragonboat festival.... more like rippedoffzelda festival.

I despise talking animals unless they are humanoid mythical creatures or it's in a cartoon format. Aslan - Fail Cat from Sabrina tTAW - Epic Fail Stuart Little - Fail Scrooge McDuck - Win Dory in Nemo - Win Mustafa in Loin King - Total Awesomeness Win Exceptions: I am willing to give a pass to the animals from Babe, but that's about the limit. Jar-Jar Binks does earn a pass for being humanoid IMO, as that experience was horrid.
