Second Short New Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader Trailer

Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Fox debuted a second, shorter trailer for Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader on the recently released DVD of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which is now online from Narnia Fans (via BleedingCool). The first full-length trailer we featured back in June was a lot longer and contained more footage, but I like this trailer because it initially takes a more focused approach towards Lucy and her "Book of Incantations" before showing us more of the actual Dawn Treader ship and the adventure all four siblings will be going on. I'm still kind of interested in checking this out, but who knows how many others will even go out and see it.

Watch the second trailer for Michael Apted's Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader:

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is directed by British filmmaker Michael Apted, of films like Class Action, Thunderheart, Extreme Measures, The World Is Not Enough, Amazing Grace and The Power of the Game previously. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (You Kill Me, Prince Caspian, Marvel's Captain America) and Michael Petroni (Queen of the Damned, Boys Own Story, Possession). This is based on the third book in C.S. Lewis' beloved Chronicles of Narnia series. 20th Century Fox is bringing Dawn Treader to theaters everywhere, in 3D, on December 10th this winter.

Still not impressed. I'm sure this will work its way into my house eventually but it won't be by my doing. The first Narnia I loved, but now it's just bad.

yea, the first one was pretty good..........the second was not quite as good as the first..........and this looks like it will continue the downward spiral towards absolutely terrible. i don't have a lot of hope for this one.

I'm not sure guys. I think it will be really good. I heard that this is the last one though, so you should find something else to complain about. Why did Reepicheep's voice go to Simon Pegg?

I dunno, they'll always try to gripe about something in this series but whatever, I love the innocence -- will watch! Thanks for posting.

THis trailer was an improvement. I'm definitely going to see this and I;m looking forward to it, but I'm really hoping they can pull it off and not let it become stupid. The second one was already a significant drop in quality.

The book was my favourite in the series, so my hopes are high.

I enjoyed both previous Narnia movies and watched them in theaters, and I will definitely be watching this in theaters! I was really excited to see the first trailer for this. I hope this movie is good, and I hope it does well!
