Secret Flynn Lives Meet-Up Prior to Tron Event in San Fran!

Flynn Lives - Alan Bradley Interview

First, as a reminder, if you live in (or near) San Francisco, you should attend the big press conference event for Encom being hosted by Alan Bradley at Justin Herman Plaza this Friday night at 8PM! Second, there are few ARG updates for Tron Legacy on the Flynn Lives site that we should point out, especially if you want to help "disrupt" that aforementioned press conference. The Flynn Lives group is organizing what they're calling an "awareness campaign" and have announced a secret meet-up before the event for any and all Flynn supporters in the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency from 6:15PM to 7:45PM this Friday.

A post in the discussion forums says: "An old friend of mine hooked us up with a meeting spot right next to the event. We've got the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency from 6:15-7:45. Bring your Encom badges if you have them - if not - come anyway. We need as many people as we can get to help!" Another post says that "that Encom event is bigger than we thought." Definitely sounds like something big is going down on Friday night at this press conference and I don't think it's just going to be a basic product announcement. We'll be there, I hope everyone else will be, too (and come anyway even if you don't have an Encom badge)!

In last week's new viral update, we featured an interview that IGN did with Encom's "Executive Consultant" Alan Bradley (played by Bruce Boxleitner in both movies). In that, he talked briefly about the upcoming event and all the latest with Encom, but apparently that interview was heavily edited. MovieViral links to a full unedited version of that interview (embedded below) that contains some talk about Kevin Flynn and the Tron game and more. The video was discovered in the employee intranet email for certain users, which is a whole separate part of the viral. There's also a password cracker for that intranet that fans have discovered.

Anyway, we're expecting quite a big, extravagant event on Friday night in San Francisco, and we'll be there to support the Flynn Lives guys (screw Encom!) and get video of it all with our Flip Cam (if possible). Stay tuned for updates later this week and if you're in the San Fran area, be sure to attend, even if you don't have an Encom badge. In fact, bring as many people as you can - the more the better! See everyone Friday night!

Nope. This is way beyond over done. Don't over do it by making an uncomfortable interview seem plausible. This just felt stupid. Would have been much better having a Boxleitner interview about ENCOM and TRON.

#3 - I thought the interview was good, not too revealing, but it was cool to hear. I think it was just prep for the big press conference, so don't write off that event just yet!

This treit crap is extremely similar to what he said last Friday.
