Tron Legacy

Ah s**t these just keep getting better! I know I keep saying that, but it's true! IGN (via HeyUGuys) debuted the newest billboard/banner photo from Tron Legacy, the sixth in the series they've been unveiling since last December. This has Garrett Hedlund in a surprisingly badass-lookin' pose in a photo have never seen before, pretty damn cool. It looks like Tron Legacy will probably end up being the highlight of Comic-Con 2010 with all the sweet stuff they're planning as part of "ComiTRON." It was also recently confirmed that Flynn's Arcade will be returning! Past billboards: first, second, third, fourth and the fifth. Check this out!

Tron Legacy Billboard

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and is pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years.

Tron Legacy is directed by first-time filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. The screenplay was co-written by Adam Horowitz ("Lost"), Richard Jefferies (Blood Tide, Living Hell), Edward Kitsis ("Lost"), and the director of the original movie, Steven Lisberger. This first got the greenlight last year because this early teaser played well at Comic-Con. Disney is bringing Tron Legacy to theaters in 3D starting on December 17th, 2010.

I'm nuts about this movie already-- although the style they are using really takes away from the first movie. I wish it was more rough-edged.
