The Golden Briefcase

On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim & Jeremy are joined by John Cooper from ReelLoop.com to discuss their latest Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD/Blu-Ray releases, chat about the new trailers for Robert Rodriguez's Machete, Michael Winterbottom's The Killer Inside Me and J.J. Abrams' sci-fi Super 8, complain about Babel and much more. The main topic of the night was a look back at the lustrous career of Ridley Scott (in honor of Robin Hood's premiere this Friday). The guys go over the high and low point's of Scott's career and talk a bit about their thoughts on Robin Hood and where Scott is heading next. Listen in!

The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

I personally believe these guys shouldn't do this program. There's a lot of bull in it, and they don't even bother to see all movies of the director they are discussing. Hell, they need IMDB to check what Ridley Scott made ... during the live broadcast! I will never listen to these guys again. Such an unprofessional bunch.

Good show guys. Though i kinda think American Gangster and Body of Lies was decent movies. And in my opinion they shouldn't be call failures. Scott have done desent movies latly, just not as good as the old stuff, and i guess we think more of him, and thats a bit why the movies are a bit of a let down. + i haven't seen Kingdom of Heaven. just cuse i have heard so much shit about it. maybe should be worth looking at the DC edition. Cheers
