TGB Episode 4: The One with Monsters (Guest: Ethan Anderton)

March 31, 2010

The Golden Briefcase

On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase (older episodes here), Tim and Jeremy are joined by our own Ethan Anderton, who does plenty of writing right here on, to discuss their Picks of the Week, the newest DVD/Blu-Ray releases, new trailers for Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and also [Rec] 2, rant about seeing only 65 minutes of Toy Story 3 and much more! The main topic of the night was Humans vs. Monsters (in honor of Clash of the Titans in theaters this Friday) - the guys talk about some of their favorite films and sequences featuring mankind faced against the most deadly of monsters. Enjoy!

The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

If you're going to bring up Alien and Aliens, why not throw Predator into the mix? And for some more John Carpenter love, the Monster from Big Trouble in Little China who stows aboard Jack's truck at the end...admittedly not as cool as The Thing but still worth mentioning:)
