by Tim Buel
December 22, 2010
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by guest Elisabeth Rappe from CHUD and Film.com to go over their latest picks of the week, the newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, trailers for Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life, Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides and Gore Verbinski's animated Rango, join in on Jeremy's rant about subjectivity and more! The main topic of the show was the modern western, in honor of True Grit hitting theaters soon. The gang goes over some of their favorites in the past 20 years and talk about the various sub-genres of the western genre. Listen in!
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 7:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!
