GOLDEN BRIEFCASE
TGB Episode 9: The Inception of Summer (Guest: Massawyrm)
by Tim Buel
May 5, 2010
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim & Jeremy are joined by C. Robert Cargill aka Massawyrm from Ain't It Cool News to discuss their latest Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD/Blu-Ray releases, a few new trailers for Jonah Hex, Winter's Bone and Piranha 3D, praise the criminally unknown Timecrimes from filmmaker Nacho Vigalondo, and chat about the mysterious new J.J. Abrams trailer in front of Iron Man 2. The main topic was Top 5 Summer Movies (in honor of Iron Man 2 kickin' off the summer this Friday). The guys go through their most anticipated films and touch on a few honorable mentions from this summer.
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

For me it's Inception and Toy Story 3. Can't wait for both of those.

Wow guys great shout out to Seraphim Falls! Love that movie and it is so underrated! Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes it let alone know about it:) Johna Hex looks a little weak, but I'm with Cargill when he says it may surprise us. True the Brolin make-up looks like chewing gum (would have been cool if it looked as good as TwoFace in TDK) but I think Malkovich looks like a miscast. Back to Seraphim Falls, I started to think of its comparison to Hex before you guys even brought up Winter's Bone actually:) Lastly, I so love Timecrimes!!...one of the very best twist ending films. But where most twist films fail on a repeat viewing, this is layered so damn well and has insane replay value. See you guys next week!
