Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

"We have nothing, if not belief." Fox has debuted yet another full-length theatrical trailer via Yahoo for The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which arrives in theaters in 3D in only 31 more days. We've already seen at least three full trailers for this movie already! Not that it looks bad or anything, I actually think it looks pretty damn good, I'm just tired of seeing huge trailers when I'd rather just watch the movie at this point. But if you're excited and/or need any more convincing that this might actually be worth seeing, then check out the final trailer below. Oh and you can also hear Simon Pegg's voice as Reepicheep!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is directed by British filmmaker Michael Apted, of films like Class Action, Thunderheart, Extreme Measures, The World Is Not Enough, Amazing Grace and The Power of the Game previously. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (You Kill Me, Prince Caspian, Marvel's Captain America) and Michael Petroni (Queen of the Damned, Boys Own Story, Possession). This is based on the third book in C.S. Lewis' beloved Chronicles of Narnia series. 20th Century Fox is bringing Dawn Treader to theaters everywhere, in 3D, on December 10th this winter.

Meh.... I didn't like any of the first two movies and this doenst look any better. I wish they would make The Subtle Knife from the His Dark Materials series (sequal to golden compass) or Eldest from the Inheritance Cycle (sequal to Eragon). Well the Golden Compass was a decent movie but they should actually reboot the Inheritance Cycle because the Eragon movie was crap but I LOVE the books.

I'm getting a "Pirates of the Carribean" vibe with this one. As for the comment about the Subtle Knife, if it is made for the summer season, it will be big. The main problem the Compass had was because it came out at Christmas, which is a christian holiday, christians were boycotting it. If The Golden Compass came out in the summer 2008, and Prince Caspian came out in Christmas 2007, both of them would have been insanely big.

i'd love to see the "subtle knife" made too! as for this - it looks ok. i'll rent it for the special effects, but i'm not expecting a whole lot more from it. the first 2 were meh movies and this will probably be the same.

Love the scene with Aslan and Eustace in dragon form. :] I'm close to these books, but enjoy seeing the changes that have been made to link the story beats together and make things more cinematic. Looks well-produced despite the budget cuts. Really hope it's a success so we can move on to Silver Chair and the Horse and His Boy - two of my favorites!

Why is Simon Pegg voicing Reepicheep instead of Izzard? Although he sounds pretty much the same, I'm just curious.
