Watch: Another New Trailer for Zwick's Love and Other Drugs

Love and Other Drugs Trailer

It was only a few days ago that we featured the first official trailer for 20th Century Fox's romantic comedy Love and Other Drugs starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. I wasn't totally impressed by that trailer and the footage in it, but another new trailer has appeared online today (via Awards Daily) which you can watch and give a second shot. The story is all the same - basically a viagra salesman falls in love with the woman of his dreams - but there's a lot more emotion in this than that other trailer. I've been hearing some others say that Gyllenhaal and Hathaway have Oscar potential, but I'm not really sure. What do you think?

Watch a second official trailer for Edward Zwick's Love and Other Drugs from YouTube:

Follows the relationship between a drug industry salesman and woman he meets on one of his sales calls.

Love and Other Drugs is directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Edward Zwick, of films like Glory, Legends of the Fall, Courage Under Fire, The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond and Defiance most recently. The script was co-written by Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz (The Last Samurai, "Quarterlife") and Charles Randolph (The Interpreter) and is based on Jamie Reidy's 2005 book "Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman". Fox is bringing Love and Other Drugs to theaters everywhere starting Thanksgiving week, on November 24th.

hey this doesn't look half bad actually...seems to be speaking to something higher about the human condition...which is always great, and that's where the great romantic comedies come from... that being said, this could totally be a smarmy POS...who knows.

Oh wow... this trailer is FAR different than the first one that was released. I'm kinda disappointed because this trailer revealed the climax of the story (She's sick, so she pushes him away.) Crap. Oh well. Still really interested in this. Thanks for sharing it.

@ Ellsworth i agree... the clip of where she's in the bus and he's on the car chasing it is probably the "i'm here to make everything right" scene (the ending). Leukemia?
