Middle Men Trailer

Paramount has debuted a very TNA-filled red band trailer (via MySpace) for George Gallo's Middle Men, the comedy starring Luke Wilson about the origin of internet porn in the 90's. We featured the first trailer back in June, but it didn't really catch on, maybe because they couldn't really show everyone how raunchy and rowdy this movie truly is until they could unleash this red band trailer online. Sex sells, right? If you're a parent, don't let your kids see this, as there's enough gratuitous nudity and language to ruin them for life (just kidding). I think this looks okay, but I'm still not sold. Will it be good funny or bad funny? Thoughts?

Watch the new red band trailer for George Gallo's Middle Men:

Middle Men chronicles Jack Harris (Luke Wilson), one of the pioneers of internet commerce, as he wrestles with his morals and struggles not to drown in a sea full of conmen, mobsters, drug addicts, and pornstars.

Middle Men is both written and directed by George Gallo, best known as the screenwriter of Midnight Run, Wise Guys, 29th Street, & Double Take, but he also directed 29th Street, Trapped in Paradise, Double Take, Local Color, and My Mom's New Boyfriend previously. The script was co-written by Gallo and Andy Weiss. It's based on the real stories of Chris Mallick. Paramount is bringing Middle Men to theaters August 6th.

A story far more important to the history of the internet than stupid facebook. Without porn there would be no internet.

I saw a screening and this movie is AWESOME! Like watching Goodfellas, if it were about the internet porn biz.

I saw the poster for Middle Men and thought it was going to be a porn parody of Mad Men.

I find this movie disgusting and degrading to women. Great...more of what we need. This is yet another of many examples that point to how far our society *has yet* to come. No shame, men? No surprise... You are deeply disappointing. (That's a big FUCK YOU!)

Annabel on Jul 12, 2010

@13 annabel. you think a movie about porn on the internet is disgusting and degrading to women? why not talk about the porn industry itself which came out before the internet?

chilin on Jul 12, 2010

This movie looks like a mess with a pair......

Ells on Jul 13, 2010

annabel is just another typical femnazi. these women didnt have to show their shit for money, most of them do it because they like it. come to terms with your own sexuality somewhere else.

Women like Annabel will always claim the degradation of women whenever a movie shows female nudity. It's always ok for movies like Sex and the City 1 and 2, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bruno, Borat, Zach and Miri, Walk Hard, Alexander, Spartacus and shows like True Blood, and others that show male full frontal nudity to objectify men, but any showing of female nudity at all is degrading to women. How many movies and TV shows like Twilight and all the Rom Com's have men without their shirts on or male rear nudity objectifying us, but don't show any female nudity? Movie nudity has shifted to male nudity in recent years so give it a rest when a movie shows some boobs. Many movies and TV shows have complete male frontal nudity. I have yet to see female genitals on TV or in a movie. Hopefully this movie will have the guts to do it.

jeff on Jul 27, 2010

jeff what are u talking about? there is hardly any full frontal nudity on cable or in movies. Not in true blood, twilight or sex and the city. Borat, Bruno, Zach and Miri, Alexander, and spartacus are male oriented movies. They are not chick flicks or cable shows marketed to women. Give me a break. Most of those shows add male nudity to drive up the ratings or controversy. Not to appeal to female viewers. What have you been watching, but boobs are included in female nudity and not just the baby maker, which btw I have seen in plenty of movies. And just cause someone doesnt want to see sex everywhere doesnt make them some sort of female rights champion. There are people with morals(gasp!). There are men out there that feel the same. We have a whole slew of far right conservatives as proof of that. If sex didnt sell then it wouldnt be around, but lets face it. The adult entertainment industry doesnt make millions off females. Its the males that drive the business. So a lot of females or males may or may not enjoy it. But what they really enjoy is the money that comes from it.

huh? on Aug 2, 2010

Jeff, you are completely correct. There seems to be nothing but male frontal nudity in movies, plays, in a numerous amount of cable shows and even in cartoons such as the film version of "The Simpsons." They feature close ups, several views throughout the film, and some for long periods of time. However, with all of that female frontal nudity is almost no existent. It has become a huge double standard. It is long past the time to see as many female crotch shots as male. Also, in PG-13 movies it is always partial male nudity. Through all of that, you never see any female voice her concern about how males are a victim of nudity injustice. However, show a little partial female nudity (breasts) and then they speak up. In fact, they usually have some ridiculous rhetoric about how and why it seems fine for all the male frontal nudity but how women are the ones being mistreated. Give me a break !!!!!!!!!!!!!
